Oh, what I meant is that the UrbanMech unequivocally satisfies the faction-specific requirement.
Edit: My guess/wish is that the controversy of an UrbanMech would stem from it being heavier and (slightly) faster than canon. I'd love to see modified (combined) hitboxes to make it uniquely durable, too.

I imgaine this is controversial because anyone who paid for the Phoenix pack would prefer this to the Locust.
I would be happy with a Valkyrie or Wolfhound (but really want the Wolfhound)

- The new light mech will be "controversial"
- The new light mech is "famous because it was used by a particular faction"
- It is not the panther
- It must be IS
- It arrives Feb. 4th.
So, the only mechs that would be possible:

http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Javelin
But the Javelin was not really famous, I guess it will be the Wolfhound.
The following is on Sarna about the Wolfhound:
"Phelan Kell and his Wolfhound, nicknamed "Grinner", were captured by the forces of Clan Wolf during Operation Revival. When Phelan was inducted into the Wolf Clan as a Warrior, Khan Ulric Kerensky ordered his 'Mech be upgraded using Clan technology. BV (1.0) = 1473, BV (2.0) = 1,176"
Your thoughts?
I wished it is the Wolfhound, because I after I watched my old Battletech Mech Cards I was fancy because of Wolf Trap (Kurita answer to Wolfhound, which started production in 3051 - the current year).
Unfourtunately it says WLF-2 is Davion/Steiner.
Also, I hope with Faction Wars the will make Faction only modells possible. So you can only drive that Gear with the right attitude in your heart ^^ (faction).

They said it was made famous by a specific faction, so the Urbie won't be it. Still, I can only imagine how crazy the forum would go if it was.

We have mechs which for it's ton range can equip all the different types of load outs:
from:
- 6 Energy points
- 4 Missiles
- 4 Ballistics
what we are missing are ECM configurations of the different load outs. Only a few different mechs have ECM and then limited to specific configurations.
Total Light ECM Builds(3):
- 1E, 3M (NO jump jets)
- 3E (jump jets)
- 3E, 2M (NO jump jets)

You could be right about that. It would certainly be controversial as it would open doors on other possibilities.

The Javelin had yet to be integrated into most regiments when the Amaris Civil War struck and Stormvanger Assemblies' factory on Caph was destroyed in 2774, ceasing all production of the Javelin design. Despite this the Federated Suns, which had bought the most number of Javelins from Stormvanger Assemblies, succeeded in their attempt to incorporate the Javelin into practically all of their 'Mech regiments at the start of the First Succession War where its appearance took many combatants off-guard. Though employed to varying degrees by the other Successor States the Javelin quickly became synonymous with the Federated Suns, often anchoring scout lances or in certain units teaming up with other Javelins to create mobile fire support lances. Following the creation of the Federated Commonwealth the design was upgrade with newly-recovered lostech during the latter part of the 3040s, and at the behest of AFFC High Command Jalastar Aerospace began production of new Javelins in 3055. Since then the sturdy and reliable scout 'Mech has continued to serve on the battlefield, though the original's level of armor

Ostscout is not unseen anymore
I request that you provide us with an independently verifiable source, please.
Why?
The Ostscout is a Macross mech, which means Harmony Gold holds the rights, which means it is almost certainly not reseen, meaining it is still unseen.
The ostscout is a Regult Scout Pod, a well known Macross design, and most definitely worth proitecting
AFAIK, The ONLY Macross mechs that are not unseen are the OstROC and the IIC clan variants. And even some of THOSE (the iiC variants) are still unseen because they lean to close to the original....
Therefore I have a very hard time believing that the original Ostscout is no longer unseen...
