Anyone have a mod to remove the cockpit glass scratches?

Please post it here if anyone has the great ability to remove this glass.

Just pay up for the hotly anticipated 'Clan windscreen wiper' package, you can even have gold windscreen wipers if you slap down $300!! ... love what PGI do for us.

While I agree that such option is desired and apparently they plan to implement it, removing such glass would be against CoC and could result in a ban, so I wouldn't recommend it (tampering with game files to get an advantage). Just for the record, I have no connection to either PGI or IGP, but this one is pretty obvious, so just a friendly warning.

We were joking in our drops yesterday.

PGI will start selling us a consumable "Windshield Spray" for 80,000 Cbills or 300MC per mech.

80,000 C-bills for the Consumable. To get your windows waxed clean.

or 300MC to keep the windows clear.

IS repair guys has everything need to fix your mech up, every part you destroy, except new glass. For that, you are using 500 year old glass that has seen better days and there is no replacement available.

A module should fix this.

I like it. It gives people with a great sense of awareness of visual acuity something to separate them from people who don't.

That's it. I'm going to complain!

The cross hair in the HUD blocks my view of the target when it is at long distance. I want PGI to remove the circle and cross crosshair from the HUD so I can see what I am aiming at. It should be a small dot instead. While your at it, I want the HUD to be turned off completely, who knows what else I'm missing.

Come on people, I know your with me on this one!

Ok, in all seriousness I could care less. I just like how some people make it sound like PGI is making them play blindfolded. I think they will ultimately keep the glass effect, but really tone it down. With the huge outcry on the forums, that is sure to come.

Hello everyone,

Just to make the point, any modifications made to the game files in order to give the player a significant advantage is prohibited. We are aware of the "No Cockpit Glass" mod and are actively investigating it. Don't use it.

I've left the previous post intact so you are aware of what I am referring to.

Cheers!
Destined

(i am not bothered about the glass, i like it, just curious to ask)

It is very bad on HPG and forest in the cave is unplayable in some mechs.

Also varies by mech. For some reason there is an invisible hole in the back of your mech allowing the light to shine in so it varies by orientation on the map.

I know that the Clan version of windshield wipers, Wipers IIC, would clean the snot right off AND repair the scratches with its built-in transparent Harjel dispensers.
