I just do not understand why PGI feels that they have to re-invent the wheel???
The UI should be simple and clutter free...almost like MW3. I mean MW3's UI was simple to use and easy to understand...no help video was needed.
Why are we over complicating it? Jesus, it's not even suppose to be entertaining...it's a damn Mech Bay!

The UI that's going in on Feb 4th is not going to be the "final" version.
They have conceded (thanks to all the feedback) that the mechlab's loadout screen needs to change to something closer to that of the one featured on Smurfy.
However, they won't be able to get around to implementing that until after (or around) the release of CW.

Oh yes...something like that would be outstanding. A little from the MW3 days!

Well then they better have CW out asap, b/c I think many new players are going to be totally confused by the new UI and may just move onto other games.

They mentioned that there are few things that will be going into the UI on 4th that weren't in the last PT. Hopefully it'll be the mech overview screen...because that's one of the most confusing aspects of mechlab 2.0 is not being able to get an overall idea of what's on your mech.

I hope they fix the whole thing.
I still say the UI we ALREADY have is better then the 'new' UI.
I pray I am blown away when the new UI comes out. But i'm not holding my breath.
