I didn't need facebook. I followed the instructions.

1 login/create an alienware arenea account and get key
2. login/create mwo account and redeem key.

It took me about 15 seconds total (I already had an alienware and mwo account)

That "F Share" icon is just there for people to spread word about it, the Get Key button is what you press and it has you login/register to get it.
