End of match no kills and 200 dam though I expended all my ac5 rounds with no misses so I should have had over 900.
Something is terribly wrong unless i am mistaken on disco scoring.

This was a pug game I just got out of. You'll notice that the people on my team didn't really do much. Even the 4man, and we where kicking their butts. They capped us with lights. And the game before that I pugged as well, and we kicked butts and won the game. It's you guys, I don't just get rolled over nine times in a row when I decide to pug it up.

You know what. Sometimes one loses... a lot.
And really, that's it. It's smart to take a break and come back tomorrow, but posting that you've lost a lot? Just to get the frustration out?

Eesh, no it doesn't. What is going on with people.
4 mans appear on both sides of the fences. Some teams sync drop and still get beaten. There are people who take 4 assaults in the game but still kinda blow (Steiners come to mind as the current griefers of the game).
But to say this is exclusively the case when it just isn't always.
You guys sound like losers, I have to tell you.

Generally wins and losses are not PGIs fault nor are they necessarily Pug or premade results. PGI isn't setting at your computer pushing the buttons - You are. I've seen premades who thought they'd win get spanked by pug teams. It basically comes down to which team makes the most mistakes and/or which one has the best players. Once a few people do something stupid it tends to snowball. Once your down by four or more you are generally not going to win. Basically though I see a lot of players doing stupid things and then wondering why they loose.
When I see a team get rolled they did one or more of the things I see being done that almost always guarentee a loss:
- Taking a bad mech build. I don't know what some of you are thinking when you build mechs. I've seen an Atlas with just a couple medium lasers and an AC 20 - Really???? Flamer only mechs...
- Charging through choke points. Always a bad idea but I see it all the time. You pop out 1 or 2 at a time in front of the other team which has a firing line and can pick you off in order.
- Split up or spread out. This includes going through tunnels and etc because you are basically isolating part of your team. How many times do you see a team getting bottled in the tunnel by two or three mechs while the rest of their team goes and hunts down everything that isn't bottled up. If you want to use tunnels and such thats fine but you can't just set in there.
- Chasing after the first contacts they see. This often leads to getting split up and spread out and often hasthe players who do this happily marching right out in the open in front of the other teams guns or they chase one mech into several of his buddies and get flattened by them.
- Running off and leaving your team mates hanging. There is nothing more annoying. You get into a face off through a choke point with the other team and the next thing you know 2/3 of your team has melted away trying to flank the long way, chasing a light, or some such and you get charged just as soon as the other team realizes this. Then they come on the guys who left from the rear.
- Not paying attention to whats going on. Get so fixated on trying to kill a light or watching 3 mechs in oone location that the rest of the enemy team can roll in behind them.

this is your ELO hard at work
when you win, your score goes up as you know
when it goes up you are placed with harder opponents
then you lose again because of harder opponents
lose enough and your elo drops back down to easy opponents again
and thus your rise begins again
eventually you would find a sweet spot were every game is a challenge and you win about %50 of the time
this is normal ELO
what people often fail to realize in MWO is that your have FOUR separate ELO ranks
Light, Medium, Heavy, Assault
thus there is an inherant flaw in this system as it does not take into account your 3 other ELO ranks when playing
so if you are a brilliant heavy pilot and spend lots and lots of time there and fight your way into the big leagues
you will have lots of raw skill , normally ELO works to find you opponents that should be a fair fight in skill rating
but what happens when you jump down into a medium
all that knowledge about the game and skill in piloting a mech is ignored because you either have not played or rarely play Mediums
so your back to easy land but your not new, sure a medium is a different beast but landing an AC20 still does the same killer damage it does everywhere else
now thats a pretty extreme example
but it happens all the time
it happens on an even more extreme level when high lvl players create smurf accounts for some relaxation or responsibility avoidance
however it matters not
the match maker works just fine
total stompings 12-0 are often even ELO variance of 45-50 (devs posted about it in the command chair i think)
many people blame their team or the enemy's "obvious" superiority for a loss
happens more the bigger the loss
losing a game is Never your fault
but i got news for you
its always your fault
every time you lose its your fault
it dosnt matter if your 11 kills and alive at the end of the match, your actions lost the game
analyze your own play, think what could i have done different to have made that a win
think this after every loss or death
what could you have done different to make a difference
its normally something so simple, "i forgot to press R on that last enemy" "i should of gone for cap earlier" "i shouldn't of gone for cap during situation X"....ect
if you are EVER sitting there saying OMG my team are such noobs and i lost because of them
truth is , you are the noob and they lost because of you
so the answer to your original post is simple
play more, get better at the game
practice practice practice
TL:DR
Grow Stronger

Its just, I've noticed you ether lose badly in this game or you win, or put it this way I will lose horribly for a couple of days then I will start wining for a couple of days, it just seem like a trend.
Funny thing. I've noticed the MM will sometimes cloak premades.
Take a premade I playing with today. They showed up as the same lance, 4 people, yay.
Well, I got em two games later- on the other side, confirmed they dropped as premade.
They showed up in 3 different lances during the game to the opposition, only showing up "together" after the fight..

One or two good pilots can turn the tide of the match(specially in a pug)..... I"ve had the first hand experience enough times to know.(see it happen all the time, and do it myself)

This. Although that pug game I linked the stats to above here, I was pretty much solo the entire time. Because my team blew, and where spread out everywhere.(luckily the enemy team wasn't much better, and just stood there and let me melt them with triple utlras.)
