Well as long as we're giving anecdotal evidence. I was running solo on Terra Therma yesterday and before the match even started, I typed in chat "For the love of your maker, do NOT go to the PUGZAPPER, go anywhere but there"

Charlie lance derps straight into the PUGZAPPER to die a meaningless death.

Separate queues and integrated VoIP would have done nothing to prevent that happening

Did Charlie even know what the PUGZAPPER (ie, where Theta is for Conquest) is?

Otherwise, it's "OMG BEWARE THE BOOJUM!" followed by "YOU DIPSTICKS, YOU QUARKED THE BOOJUM!"

Why the hell can't we see our Elo scores?

Forget seeing Elo scores. Let's get player stats public like Bryan (in 2012) said would happen in 2013:

Just a heads up, stats are public. They will be viewable by everyone in the new year, similar to : http://www.bf2stats.net/

Seeing the total matches, wins, losses, kills, deaths, etc. per each chassis/variant, and being able to calculate from that things like average damage per match, average kills per match, etc.. seems like it would be a lot more helpful than just a single number for each weight class. But that is just me.

Also, they might of not even of seen it since the chat window sometimes insta closes and gets bumped up by people typing. So I think some people just don't pay much attention to it and when you do it can be a bother.

Doesn't matter, it's Charlie lance.
"First to die, first to complain."
That's their official motto.

Because we point out that this "new" thread isn't "new" and we get tired of having to dig through 20 duplicate posts just to find threads and information that doesn't involve the latest bandwagon?

Because you think posting your clever little snark in repeat threads is ok, even though it clearly violates the CoC. But as the CoC is enforced entirely arbitrarily it really doesn't matter. The rules are supposed to apply to everyone and everything. Since you deem it ok to violate the CoC when you feel justified how is that different?

When I'm feeling down... I can always rely on the steady flow of comedy of these forums to pick me up. Forums, and copious amounts of drink.

From what I can gather, the main reason people are opposed to integrated VoIP is because they feel they are somehow smarter than everyone else because they have their little groups on their teamspeak server and anyone who doesn't are just morons. I truly think that some (not all) of the groups are opposed because integrated VoIP would hurt their recruitment, and chances of stomping all dem puggies thus reducing their fun level (that's kind of selfish given that you don't care if anyone else enjoys the game or not). I guarantee you if you got your wish and Voip was never implemented premades would be the only people playing this game... and not because all dem puggies joined up.

If that's not the case then I challenge you to give a real reason for not wanting integrated VoIP... other than pugs are too dumb and wouldn't be able to find which end of the microphone to talk in to. Or because they are afraid someone might call them a B!@7¢|·|. Or the old standby.... "just use teamspeak, duh huh" (what happens to the other 4 or 8 guys on your team you can't talk to?).

Of course there would be a language barrier for a pretty good majority, but hey nothing's perfect. And maybe if the playerbase ever got large enough there could be different queues for different languages.

As far as the OP I've said it before somewhere earlier in this thread, integrated VoIP solves that problem... there is no need for separate queues. There is need for private matches so the premades don't have to sync drop in order to facilitate their group vs group matches.

Edit: for some reason auto correct believes when I type teamspeak I really mean t-shirts.

now you're getting it. :)
it's an eye for an eye mentality. why so angry?
Point being that I don't think it's fair for me to have to dig through duplicate threads or get a good constructive thread and exchange of ideas going only to have one person think they're ida in the exchange wasn't the holy grail they thought it was and go start a "new" thread so everyone jsut has to repeat every thing all over again.

So which came first, the chicken or the egg?

Who let The Boogeyman out of the box again.

Awesome how we get these complaint threads, but none when premades lose to randoms.

It's not all one sided when pugs work together.

Back in the 8 V 8 days, the argument may have had merit. In 12 v 12, not so much. Stop running off solo. its a TEAM game. Hell, even the loading screen tips tell you so.

That's because premades don't get stomped. They're the root of all evil and cause all the problems. It's actually been stated (well except root of all evil) in this and many other "premades are mean" threads. Wouldn't it be nice to just say THIS thread instead of "many other" threads? :)

I just played a game today and i saw that my team was heading for its doom. In river city the enemy was flanking hard left and was gonna try to crush us by hammer tactics but i took company command and guided my team to victory. I realized then that sometimes all it takes is a little direction. As for your case......well it was a good day to die :)

I have been browsing these forums daily since June of 2012, and I personally do not recall seeing anyone opposed to PGI implementing integrated VOIP.

There's been a VERY select few but most of those were actually dedicated pugger ironically enough but those who are pushing for in game voip continuously try to widen that circle to include people who don't believe that and actually want in-game voip. Most usually they jsut call them liars even though they've said they do and then commence to ignore anything pertinent said and say it's turning them into victims of some kind. Now keep in mind that's not all but it is some

Go back to page one of this thread and read through it till you get to your post... I'm not going to go forum searching for you.

Anyways, not so much as directly opposed but saying "we have teamspeak why do we need anything else?".

Plus there were a couple of solo guys who didn't want it because they have confined living spaces with noise restrictions or little kids running around.

Also I should have been a little more specific... I'm talking about the select few who pop up in these threads and spout that nonsense. I wasn't trying to loop any particular group of people into that select few.

Edit. I should really turn auto correct off.

As long as you don't dispute that you are on the same silly level of rule breaking and are in fact just arguing who is the pot and who is the kettle. I guess it's ok as long as they started it, is that more mature. I'm not sure which childish argument you were aiming for. Everyone's doing it so it's ok, they started it, etc.
It's just nice to see that the rules get enforced very unevenly and why this place is so warm and friendly. IGP and PGI continue to show they can't handle community management in a professional manner. This place will be jumping post patch.

You think I have some sort of special power that prevents moderation? If only that were true lol
I just dont' jump up and down and draw attention to it so it goes unnoticed. Sound familiar to anything else around here?

one could only hope. My sceenshot library has quite a few pictures of things that just cannot happen according to this and the many others like it.

I am so sick of this topic...
