I'm curious, is there a way to edit the sound files. For instance, changing the Betty voice to that of an earlier game?

The devs shut down any attempts to modify their files. A well know example of that is people trying to remove the ugly film grain.

But would they get upset if we somehow got rid of their UI-2.0 sound that plays, and plays, and plays every time you just move your mouse over a button?
Was that sound effect really needed? I don't think so.
