What's the best mech build if I wanna pwn some nubz?

Get a Stalker 3F with the smallest engine and load it up with TAGs. MAXPWNGE.

Or just pilot what you like piloting and go with that. I see people who pilot builds that would be unusable in my hands, but easily pop up the leaderboards. And I'm sure I have builds that are the same way for others.

It's all playing style and what you're comfortable with.

That said, the AC40 Jager, if you get good at sneaking into range (typically by hiding behind Assaults) will get you 5+ kills a game easy.

Any Mech though can "Pwn" players with a competent pilot behind the wheel.

Rather than worrying about "pwning nubz", confuse them instead! Maybe a Raven 3L with an LRM20 in the NARC tube. Or any mech with a head energy mount - put a flamer in it for fire spitting lulz. Or take a Locust!

I've been running this lately:

BLR-1D

Try to be at the front of a push. That does not mean charge off alone but when it comes time to push you have good damage, you are tanky, and you can suppress an enemy with your dakka making it hard for them to return fire. Armor is a bit light in the back but it very rarely gets me killed.

Runs hot though, I recommend only chain firing the lasers while the dakka is going. Even then you will still get really hot so be very sparing with the lasers, they're mostly for backup.

This was my first Mech and I regret nothing. I love it and even play it today. Such a wonderful mech. Unfortunately I hate LRMs so i never mastered it.

Probably because the "Founder" that posted it is a new player that bought the account of off an actual Founder. I wager this happens a lot, might explain the painful skill disparity I've seen with Founders (either really good or outstandingly bad with almost no in between).
