Meaningless. That simply says (as is obvious) that it is derived from the Spider.

Says specifically it is based on a strengthened Stinger Chassis. So by your reasoning, the Phoenix Hawk is really just another Stinger, albeit 25 tons heavier? Or because one is called STG- and the other PHX, that distinguishes them?

the Venom even uses a different Internal Structure chassis, the SPider uses a Newhart 1200, the Venom, a Newhart refit of the Crucis II. Different engine. Gyro. Etc.

The Venom descended from the Spider, but in no way shape or form IS a Spider.

I was not making a request nor does my statement suggest i want an ECM Hero - Pointing out the obvious differences between a real Jenner IIC and the Oxide is not an indication of want. I still don't see how it is controversial. I guess that was intentionally inserted to stir debate on the thread. Seems pretty tame to me. I guess the controversy would be because flamers suck but perhaps major flamer changes will be forthcoming tomorrow. Then the controversy would not really occur until tomorrow.
