He wasn't "farming" anything, just got gibbed by the game. Same thing happens to people often enough to appear as something insidious, when in fact it's this game kicking them out of matches, especially at the very start.
Game stability.. it's a staple feature like ghost heat. TBH, it took some effort on my part to make the game stable. MWO Repair Tool helps, but let's be honest... it's not a random event. I don't know how else to say it any other way...

What -is- back is the chronic instability. I have a friend who crashes out every time he doesn't delete his shaders after a match. It's quite silly.
Must have a really crummy pc, or just AMD. That doesn't happen to me.

The safeguards clearly got dropped somewhere along the line of patches, quietly. You don't sit there for hours crashfesting like that, and I've watched the same guy pulling it off like clockwork over a dozen matches.

I don't think they track well enough to "flag accounts" on their system. The stability of this game can easily help "mask" the complaint. I dunno... you'd think they'd have a better system.

In other words, clear ToS violations that should be and are reported. And I know of at least one ban that I may or may not have assisted in, due to a common friend telling me about how his friend got banned "for no reason" and me then telling him exactly what I reported his friend for. Suddenly his friend wasn`t such an A-OK person after all, but rather he realized what a petulant child that guy was overall, and has since severed ties to him.
With 25k /match, DC farming is all but dead, the only people that do it are the delusional {Surat} that honestly think it`s worth the time and don`t realize that other players can and do report people for it

On second thought, don't report them I doubt PGI can tell the difference.

Way beack in ye olde days(last year, late winter) they had a problem with the first iteration of HSR code. basically, a packet loss or something some such early on meant the code would error out and you would get dumped. Over the lat year, as they adjust HSR code and constantly mess with it (documented or not) this state of DC issues gets better and worse. Initially they changed the code to eliminate the DC issue. But HSR went from pretty solid to terribad, so then they tried various adjustments( of what value i do not know) to try to tune it in, with minimal DC's and still ok HSR performance. IMO, something fundamental is wrong with how they did the code, and they will never get it right. hence the issues with hit detection being especially bad on hitscan and missiles. when lasers and misiles work a tad better, more people DC.
Frankly, while it is bad for a team to lose a person, I found a lot more enjoyment out of geting a DC for me or team mate sometimes and actual decent HSR code vs the spotty {Scrap} we have now. And the something in between we have now still gets occasional DC. ( You can usually tell the difference between that and farmer, the bug DC will discon alost immediatly on their appearence, farmer hangs out for a bit)
Anyway, maybe the whole "rejoin a lobby" thing they talk about in ui 2.0 will allow them to tighten down the HSR code at the cost of player DC because at least the player can rejoin then.

I've been having TERRIBLE connection issues lately.. I'll be in a game for a minute or so, and then "session lost" which really has never happened to me until very recently.
I'm not sure exactly what is causing it.
So much this. I was in a match last night where 2 people on my team dropped then I got "session lost" right after them. I feel bad for the team that had to play an Assault match on Tourmaline with 3 people down, but hopefully their opponent lost a few as well.
People, there are still tons of client crashing problems as well as this recent "session lost" problem. Everyone who automatically thinks "farmer" when they see someone disconnect needs to evaluate their life to determine why they are so paranoid and bitter.

I thought they weren't getting anything, but if they are that's total BS.

If you find a user using an exploit or cheat or misbehaving please contact support via the website ticket system or with a mail to support@mwomercs.com.
If available please include the following information in your report:
- name of player
- map played
- date, time and timezone
- type of exploit, cheat or misbehavior
- other players involved (witnesses)
- screenshots
- links to videos or other material that might prove usefull to the GMs to solve the issue
Please do not discuss this on the forums, as it will inevitebly distribute any exploit or cheat further, making it an even bigger problem.
