Is there a league out there that forces you to use variety not this cookie cutter leagues of people who just pop tart and all run the same builds.

By variety I mean that for example the league rule is that you can not run the same mechs in your company so that in league play you will see different mechs on the battlefield?

Any help on this would be great.

Thank you for your time.

There are a few leagues out there

Don't know the statuses on them but hopefully that can point you in the right direction at least.

You'll see a lot more of them in April once private matchmaking comes out.

Since there's no way to guarantee what opponent you will be matched up against, there's not really an effective way to enforce "special rules" since the odds that you'll drop against pugs is about the same that you'll drop against your "league opponent".

The mercenarystar website should direct you to the various leagues.

Marik civil war would probably interest you the most with match restrictions and non meta mechs being used, but I think they are in a hiatus right now gearing up for season 2.

There will be mech restrictions here as well, once it gets into the swing of things.
