Hi guys

Apologies if this is answered somewhere - I did a quick look before posting.

After finally deciding to give MWO a good try-out, I have found that my client appears to be 'stuck' in windowed mode. Not too good with a 17 inch laptop really!

Any way I can force fullscreen?

I have looked into the profile on my lappy, change the view option - but, no joy!

Help would be appreciated with my everlasting respect

take care

Ryan

Edit: Just to confirm - changing the display option in the main client window section does not have any effect

edit - a better search found my pain - no probs guys, found what i needed to read!

The current UI (mech lab) is windowed only, ui 2.0 will run full screen. for changing game play settings go to the menu in the mech lab (BTM left corner) click on it, select options, under video settings "windowed mode" select fullscreen. hoped this helps.

I ain't sure if this fits this place or not, but when I click to run the game, I get the window. What I don't have, are readable words on the screen. Every thing comes out looking like a corrupted version of the "UPC" codes; (the code found on products which are scanned by a machine to give data which tells you how much the product costs), Also, loading the start screens is extremely slow; worse than I ever had back when the only connection I had for internet surfing was "Dial-Up".
I checked the reqa, and, except for one brand of Nvidia card, my graphics is compatible for the game. I also have maxxed out my RAM, and am running an AMD triple core CPU.
But, if I can't read the start screen, how will I play this game?
Is there a separate tool for setting the screen resolution? Or will I have to "Hunt for it, on the start screen?" :P
