I have bought and played two mechs since the last patch.
  • Stalker-3F
  • Misery
Here are my stats:

I have tried a variety of builds on them. No matter what I use I do better in the 3F.
I can't account for the massive discrepancy in my success.

My current thinking atm is that the hit-boxes may not be right on one of the mechs. Or that I am placed in a different Elo bracket depending on the mech.

Anyone else notice anything odd with these mechs?

Should not be mech dependant but mech class dependent which means...
If you have good ELO in assaults due to other assaults mechs in your collection, you will have a harder time leveling the new assaults.

Hmmm... Misery... My understanding the cheese build for the Misery is 2PPC + AC20... 40 Damage Alpha spam.
Not sure how well it works now since the AC20 speed nerf. -_-

Apart from general dislike and early focusing of hero mechs my only suggestion is max torso twist angle, as 3F excels in this regard haveing a 170 degrees twist angle compared to 120 degrees of other Stalkers and 130 degrees of Misery. If you brawl it usually is important.

Am I correct that your point is the are both variants of the Stalker but one has significantly worse stats than the other?

Number of matches played is too low for both mechs. You should run your analysis again with 100+ matches.

My most successful runs in the Misery were Twin PPC + AC20 or AC5 builds, that said all my stalkers carry 2 PPC's.

I have found this makes a big difference when swatting sneaky Lights too.

Indeed. In my experience however the better chassis is usually the one with ballistic options atleast were heavy and assault mechs are concerned. I can't speak for mediums.

My only thought is don't discount the fact they have different loadouts. You may be more talented with one weapon than another which would account for the avg dmg / match discrepency and hence lead to better match outcomes (on average).

Apart from that, I have heard nothing about any marked difference.

Misery is probably my favourite mech, though I've mastered all the other stalkers too.

I have similar stats between my Misery and 3F although I play them very differently.

Thoughts on the Misery are...

1) Your Ballistic slot will always be the enemies primary target, just like the hunchback's hunch.
2) Use a standard engine if you are not doing so already
3) Make sure your big energy weapons are on the opposite side of the mech from your ballistic slot in order that if you lose it, you still have half a mech.
4) The "meta" is AC/20 & 2 PPC's. Personally I like 2 ER/LLAS with advanced zoom, AC/20 with 21 rounds and 3 mlas. I group the mlas and AC/20 together. But everyone is going to have their own build preference that works for them.
5) Front load your armour on a Misery big time. It doesn't want to be a pokey pokey back of the field mech.

Random luck. my 2 victors for the first 50 matches i ran the exact same loadout, and i had similar stats to you. it took me hitting about 150 matches in each to normalize them.

33 games between two mechs isn't statistically significant.
