I just wanted to know whether or not others got these texture bugs. If so, does anybody know exactly why?

If you have a solution please be constructive and put it in the comments. Thanks :(

All the time. Sometimes it flickers in and out... but mostly sheets of gray. I've tried repairing my install, different version of my graphics card drives, reinstalling and deleting a shaders folder which someone suggested I allow the game to rebuild. Nothing seems to resolve it.

Yeah, this isnt anything new. Its been there since before i started playing, and it can flicker something nasty at times. Its a very well known issue and the fact that PGI has not deemed it important enough to deal with is quite frankly revolting.
But, thats what we get. Crappy convoluted heat systems, nerfs to weapons, but no repairs.

What seemed to work for me (and it has worked for others), is to turn V-Sync on in the settings. Somehow V-Sync allows the textures to display properly.

As a note, After turning V-Sync on, I didn't notice it fixed until the next time I played. If you try this, you may need to re-start the game (I don't think the computer would need to re-boot though).

In anycase, I would try the V-Sync trick.

P.S. Found this trick looking around the forums, I don't know who originally realized this.

The only solution I found is enabling V-Sync. It works on AMD Radeon gpus anyway.

Don't run the repair tool. I didn't have this problem for quite a while, then I ran the repair tool for something else and it started happening again!

V-sync worked for me for a while, but stopped suddenly.

V-sync also has been working for me, although I would recommend clearing your texture cache prior to launching the game as well so that it can be rebuilt. Thus far since the patch in the 15+ matches on the Frozen variants and Alpine (all of which see this issue) I did not see it happen as of yet.

I had the issue for 6 months or so and turning v-sync on never worked for me. Then, out of the blue the glitch went away and I haven't seen it since. Don't know how or why. Now that I say this it will probably come back.

That was the same for me, but it happened the next time I played MWO after turning on V-Sync. I don't know if something changed or the game just needed to be re-booted with the v-sync turned on.

I hope it doesn't return, it is REALLY annoying.
