Some big improvements here, and some work needed as others (including yourselves) have noted. A few easy-to-fix points about the mechlab:
  • When selecting mechs, the "owned" filter includes trial mechs. This is a bit confusing.
  • We really need an "owned" filter for modules. I don't want to have to wade through all the ones I don't have to find the few that i do.
  • Having to click "check out" to save changes, even when not spending any MC or CB, is really confusing. Took me 4-5 minutes to figure out how to save changes at all!
Thanks for considering.

Too many mouse clicks when setting up a mech.

No way to know what a mech is armed with without going into the mechlab and visiting each section.

It's about as intuitive as herding cats. It looks more like it was just streamlined for MC vs any sort of usability. Mechlab is absolutely horrid. Yes, the info layout is handy but, compared to the old mechlab it just seems completely over the top for a few minor changes. It really just feels awkward and aggrivating. So much so, that I'm going to wait for the next patch before playing again this is just rediculious.

You need to go back and rebuilt UI 2.0 to look and feel like UI 1.5.

There is a bazillion icons on the screen and clutter but trying to find the relevant information is very difficult.

i thought so too. Actually you can see the loadout in a tooltip when hovering your cursor over the mech in the list. Some nice infos there about the mech, but i really think the loadout should be showed in the bottom right corner of the screen, next to the general info stuff.

Wow...PGI dumped another steaming pile of feces on us. I quit for 6 months, disgusted with the development direction (read: cash grab) and returned to this drek named UI 2.0.

Unintuitive, too busy and ugly. The resources used to push this out would have been better served giving the community what it was promised over a year ago - community warfare. Pathetic.

Uninstall...here I come again.

I can't read anything, the UI needs a large font option. 42' screen at 1080p has very small font and I REALLY LIKED the windowed UI being a different or smaller window making it easier to read.

I want the ability to have a windowed UI back. It also made waiting for the game to start easier as you could browse and stuff while you wait.

Hopefully the game will like alt tabing without much issues.

Please add a large font option to the new UI to make TV use easier.

Honestly, I has so many flaws (a lot more than the previous one) that I won't bother to list them. Did they even listen to what people said during the beta tests? Did they tried their own game? Who is the guy who thought the "ergonomy" of all this piece of c***?
