Actually, the majority of russian community are old MW and tabletop game players, many of them know each other very well. Some people need only to show up to be recognized and greeted.

I´m pretty sure i´ve seen RDL Predator on the MWLL servers before. I´d guess they (Russian Death Legion) are getting ready for mwo and / or his profile was linked somewhere in the (already huge) russian community.
