A: When is the firestarter being fully released?
B: Share your builds in the comments, this is mine:
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...59d53e633d1b6f0

It's an IS version of the Puma (adder) prime.

I dont really know smurfy that well so ill just describe the build i settled on. Right now im running an xl280,ferro,dhs,endo,1 jj,4mediums in arms, Ac2 with 225 rnds ammo in right torso. On a heat neutral map running 10 dbls i cant get 3 alphas with the meds for a total of 60 before having to cool and the AC2 allows me to keep up continuous fire even when running hot. Its a fantastic harasser and when someones distracted you can quickly close the distance and start alpha with the mediums to take them down. Most of the time they dont even know what hit them. If you can get behind an assault you can quickly core through them and just the distraction of being hit by AC rounds sends most running for cover. If i get in trouble i can quickly reposition with the decent speed of 129 and jj. Really like the mech and think the devs did a good job on it.

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...4ab7ec5bb3d848a
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...732fed23264985b
I don't know if I will pilot these things thoguh as I feel they have too much potential for being op.

You say you're a Jenner pilot and you put max JJs on builds? You're not a Jenner pilot - you're a wannabe. Shoo wannabe shoo.

For Firestarters, the max JJ's are 6. Second, I prefer a lot of jumpjets and at least I am not some elitist who thinks my way is the only correct way. Shoo elitist, shoo.

I noticed the other firestarter variants listed on Smurfy (since someone linked one above) ... are these even remotely accurate?
The FS9-K listed above has 8 energy hardpoints .. 3 in each arm and 2 CT ... 8 ML or 8 SPL in a 35 ton fast mech! ... Well, to me anyway that does not seem to be balanced ... where does the Jenner come in ... since it would completely obsolete the Jenner-F.

I also looked at the other firestarter variants ... 6E+2B, 7E, 2x 8E variants.

You're confusing 'elitist' with 'efficient'. My way is not the only way, but all variables considered it is the 'best' way. Begone vagabond!

I think its accurate yes. 150kph, 6 JJ's, 2 modules(3 mastered), and pretty much 8 hardpoints on every variant. Yes quite OP. Its got the hardpoints of a medium with mobility comparable to the best lights.

Never! I am change incarnate. My followers and I shall soar over the non-believers.

They are a bit off from the originals...

The A has 2 more Energy slots, in the CT, that the original A did not.
The K has 8 Energy whereas the original had 5.
The H is completely fabricated,
The S has 1 more AMS than the original.

The Ember is the original Firestarter minus 2 Energy slots and plus 2 Ballistics in the side torso.

At least they didnt use an S1 or C... those would be ridiculously powerful.

I would strip the armor from the head and max the arms and legs. It's extremely unlikely that you'll be killed by headshot in a light mech.

you should drop just one JJ and a tiny bit of armor for another ton of ammo
