Firstly for those whose Shadowplay has broken since UI2.0, all that's happened is UI2.0 is running in "Full Windowed" instead of "Fullscreen". Just change that in your graphics options to fix Shadowplay.
Secondly, because of the Mechlab being in Fullscreen now, it's recorded as part of your gameplay on Shadow recordings, meaning we now have to edit the video or upload our mechlab for the first few minutes, instead of knowing the earliest point will be the loading screen.
This seems to have a fairly simple fix, as your Shadow recording can be reset by exiting fullscreen and then going back in to it.
Just press Alt+Enter to make the game a Window, and then press it again to go Fullscreen.
This will reset the Shadow recording so when you save it, the moment you go Fullscreen will be the start of the video.
Any other tips?

Alternately, once you've fixed the 'fullscreen' incompatibility...you could set Shadowplay to manual and use ALT+F7 to trigger record on/off.(or rebind it to something more useful for you)

But that means recording every match, and/or creating a bunch of short video files you have to delete.
The beauty of Shadowplay is that you can just save a match after the fact, instead of recording "just in case"
