Question about quirks - does a PPC quirk (such as PPC velocity +25%) also apply to ER PPCs? I've looked in the forums and seen opinions on both sides, but I was wondering if anyone knew for certain.

The quirks are very explicit, as far as I know there are no quirk categories that specifically target only PPCs and ER-PPCs.

To be clear, a quirk affects whatever weapon or category it says. So ER Large Laser range is only for ER Large Laser. If it something like Energy Weapon range it applies to all energy weapons, so all lasers and PPCs. Something important to note is that the projectile from a PPC is tracked as a Ballistic which means quirks that are the generic "Ballistic Velocity" type apply to the speed at which the projectile travels will be affected by this quirk.

...but other ballistic quirks should not apply to PPCs such as cooldown, range, etc.
