*PLEASE STOP NERVING ANYTHING AND GET AN IDEA HOW THIS GAME SHOULD BE*
If the Highlander is ready for a nerf, why not the Victor? Jaegers? the Phract 3D? Or basically everything that stands out in the current meta, which is highly accurate pinpoint damage and Jumpsniping with Heavys/Assaults. By letting a single chassis suffer for something that is only caused by gameplaymechanics you dont solve a thing. More likely you create new issues...
*just my 5 cents, still have high hopes for MWO:)*

Yes... JJs are being looked at and specifically the initial burst turn. And there are other Mechs on the firing range.
so tell me where you "read" the information given as taking it to mean they're nerfing a mech? I'm just curious

So we were sitting in the office today brainstorming over the next focal point we need to look at and make some balance changes to. After a few ideas were kicked around we decided to take a look at JJs
Heaven forbid someone use a little levity when passing that information along
For months now players have complained there isn't any communication. NOW we have players complaining that they ARE communicating more. smh
Look at jumpjets sounds better
The best highlander pilots don't pilot highlanders. too easy.

I don't see how anything I've ever posted, or my performance in other mech builds confirms what you've said. None of us have ever been scared of anything getting nerfed. We'll just use something else that works at a high efficiency.
I think you're the one who's scared. I rebuttled your contention that our FOTM builds was our crutch by calling for a complete poptart removal and you simply attempted to restate the rehashed rhetoric that you terribads have always used when we walk over your steaming, charred mech corpses. You know you're going to get pooped on, and you're so mad about it that you have to spew patently false statements despite our challenge.
As it has been, and always will be, any change to this game will not move us away from the top of the totem pole. We are imbalanced. We are OP. Get ready to get steamrolled by the House of Lords.

No need to nerf just the Highlander, as you'll have the same problem when other jump capable assaults come out down the line. Fix the problem at the source and save yourself adjusting every 'Mech months down the line.

The forums burst into flames over anything really...
It was at least FUNNIER when they poked the dragon in order to get it to belch flames. When they don't, well the dragon sits there playing with itself until it belches flames...

Lighten up folks, jeez
Actually don't, it's kinda funny to watch. Like watching Ricky Gervais in the British version of The Office. Painful, yet funny.

who gives a shit about "gameplay balance" when all we truly want is private matches, community warfare, and the other shit you are still needing to deliver from the FOUNDERS PACKAGE!!!
I could care less if you NERF the JJs on the damn meta humpers, if you make changes to loudouts *or imho just unfuck the omnimech status* you wouldnt have the current meta as it is now and could focus on mech variants having perks and push for community warfare but, hey, you drive this damn ship into that rocky shallow water, drive it fast and hard!
*for all those pfi worshippers, i dont own any highlanders*
JJs work as intended, people build around them to make their mechs work. till you make changes to what weapons fit into which slots according to the hardpoints on the variants, you will have the continual ac/ppc "meta game"
give the community its core content paul and staff, screw your nerfs till you have that.
thanks
p.s. why cant you spend your man hours with your understaffed crew on shit you NEED to develope in this game? why fix what will continue to be broken till it gets an overhaul? think on that with your nerf gun. and shove it
