Nice Nerf Paul.

Poptarts, doing just fine. Highlanders and Victors used for ANYTHING else? Nerfed into the ground. Bravo, well played.

GG, CLOSE.

He probably uses a Vulcan on full-auto mode for his nerf gun...

What he should probably be using is something along the lines of the Longshot for more power and accuracy...

Oooh, I see whats up here.
First remove jumpjets from the 733C variant, like the Treb-K.
That will force people to buy Dragonslayers which means more $$$!
Later once people have paid for those and 80% of competitive teams use them, they can nerf that and then introduce a cataphract hero mech with two ballistic slots in the same arm to take it's place.

PGI so cleverrrr. And we don't have a shadowhawk hero mech yet do we?

Ahhhhhh ahahahahahaahah. Ahhhhhh. Heh. heh. Least I didn't buy the DS.

Let them play "peek-a-boo", instead make more JJ actually DO SOMETHING, the lack of JJ in this game is astounding! The ranges and heights have been NERFED TO OBLIVION.

This idea that JJ need NERFING is OBSCENE !

Jump Jets are terribad, the fact the only thing they are truly used for is to Pop Tart, if they actually had a true mobility side to them you might see someone drop 8 tons to fly, thereby removing some firepower or engine speed.

That would essentially fix the issue.. hear that.. BUFFING JJ to actually do something will increase the amount of JJ used also decreasing the FIREPOWER you are trying to nerf! :D

/end CAPS RAGE.

Edit; The Highlander with 3 JJ should have a range of 90 Meters, currently in MWO 3 JJ nets you a whopping 16.7 Meters.

Wooooo ..... LAME.

Your right they did miss the dart board completely with the nerf gun.

R.I.P. Brawling Victors and Highlanders. :(

Funny how the 733C poptarter got hit the least with the nerf. :(

Seriously guys...the mechs are not the issue...stop treating symptoms with narcotics...

The root of the issue is complex, and lies in convergence and pinpoint damage. The victor and highlander are just above average chassis...yet you nerf them to the point that the highlander is now a victim to lights (seems to be a growing trend for assaults) and the Victor is on the way there. Were it not for XL350/360 Victor builds, I dare say it would be nigh unplayable with the current armor and mobility coupled with already minimal arm movement.

They're not changing fundamental systems and reshaping the entire game. Quit expecting them to.

Drop restrictions by class not tonnage... why take a Victor when you can have a Highlander?

More then that, a Highlander with almost the same hardpoints but more tonnage?

My Victor loadout will now transfer to my Highlander... except I get more weapons and speed and maneuverability and armor...

"Hey Victor meet my old friend Awesome, you guys will have heaps in common..."

By the way, a 10% or even 12% nerf I could understand but... oh wait... it's engine rating... nope, makes no sense at all.

By the way part two: I'll just use my Victor for poptarting because *gasp* I don't need to turn to do that well.

Go Paul, you're so awesome at this... should have tried Bass Fishing Online maybe...

Exactly, that requires work and competence, not PGI strong points. ;)
