Hey guys and gals, just a quick tip for UI 2.0:

You're supposed to hover over your mouse over your 'Mech in the mech selection screen to see its stats, loadout, etc. at a glance. It takes a second, but a panel will pop out on the right side of the screen telling you all this.

Sorry if this seemed obvious, but a few of my friends couldn't figure it out, so I figured it must be a common issue.

Anyway, good luck out there. ;)

Takes way too many time for it to show up.

Welp, thats prolly a catch 22 or whatever the term is, because when testing they got a lotta negative feedback about how it popped up to fast... but I think the layout might have been different then, as depending on where it popped up it could be quite disruptive.

I'm also wishing that 1) the info included modules and the size of engine fitted; 2) the info popped up for 'Mechs in the store so I can see what I'm buying.

You have to go to your mech selection screen and switch to the "Purchasable mechs" filter, then hovering your mouse over them pops the info panel up. You can buy mechs from there too.

WHY in the WORLD that wasn't integrated into the store, I will never understand.

Problem is, the inventory doesn't show anything that is actually mounted on a mech - hence you not finding your engines.

As for modules, I have 2 - increased sensor range and one UAV - that I cannot seem to find, as I cannot remember which mech had them last.

but im looking at it right now and its telling me my med laser modules on my 1X. I go to inventory and i can click my mechs and its shows me which modules have on em. I go to inventory and select battlemechs;however the modules tab doesn't work for me, maybe that's whats missing

then you have to go to mechlab, deselect the module and equip it to the mech you want. if you cant do that you have to be pretty lazy.

Your right (I had missed that!)
The module list should list all the unequipped modules. (testing...)
Very helpful that! (now if only it showed what engine was equip'd eh?

Edit: yep - unequip the module and it shows up under modules - same for weapons, engines and whatever else.
For figuring out which mech has engines I am currently scrolling through to see what mechs are underweight - as I tend to leave the weapons on, but shift the engines, if that helps

Yea, quick information on where everything is needs to be integrated. Other than that and the occasional bug I've learned to work with it. Oh, and friends list taking forever to load up. Not being able to ready up without loading up a friends list.

Now... if only the new UI2.0 would show me how many open slots are still available on my Mech... that'd be nice.
