Reading this gives me chills in the bones.

This, along with the recent B-R5RB Battle in EVE, along with what I just read about BattleTech's timeline, all reminds me of the tagline for Warhamm 40K:

In the grim darkness of the far future, there's only war.

Civ 2 and Alpha Centauri is my 2 of my 3 favourite TBS game (third is Masters of Orion 2).
Today is Friday, I don't want to carry that Feels with me over the weekend...

Epic as that sounds, Alpha Centarui doesnt seem like it could be anything like that.....I loved the game but...really? :P

See, this is the problem I have with some people thinking that humanity as a whole can "evolve" into a peaceful society of love and butterflies.

The fact is humanity never changes and our laws and society have to reflect that.

Of course this is just a video game but I'm getting too deep into it... That's SCARY though. .__.
