Double xp for first win is a good start, but c-bills and MC are the two real drivers of end-game content (mech bays, modules, and mechs). I'd rather not have PGI offer MC every day, but giving 150 MC after 25 games seems like a good idea, and they could tie MC rewards to achievements going forward.
That said, they should really add a double c-bill reward for first win, on top of the double xp. C-bills are probably the biggest bottleneck, and giving some kind of incentive to get more players (players are content in f2p games) online every day. Tying it to first win will encourage people to keep playing until they get a win, and offering it for every mech they own will keep them playing across multiple mechs.

So you want them to copy Warframe?
I'm not saying they did it first. They just have this exact thing.

No, I'm saying "copy" most of the F2P games on the entire market. Most of them offer a way to earn small amounts of premium currency.
As someone else said it also invites actual microtransactions. If I can earn 1/3 of the cost of whatever I'm buying by saving up something like this then I may be more inclined to spend $20 instead of 30-40.
If it gets more players logging in and playing games it actually expands beyond "just the economy" It would have instant and large impacts on things like the MM. More players on means a bigger pool to match players up which means more players in different ELO brackets which would help mitigate one sided stomps even further.

My main idea behind this was to get more people logging in. If c-bills would improve that I'd say c-bills but that's still just something you can earn for free. A cosmetic item or a minimal amount of MC (just my opinion mind you) would give free players a sense of "earning" something that they can't get any other way without spending money.

how about 10 mc every 25 wins...or something like that.
Achivements usually work pretty well...hearthstone does somehting similiar...although i think it's a onetime thingy there.
edit: the idea of daily login rewards is kinda...i don't know, lots of peeps would just login and never play a match then...binding it to acutal in-game action would be better imo

Oh, by no means do I not want it expanded past "just" a login bonus. I'd love to see daily, weekly, monthly achievements as well as full on ranking systems where the top players get rewards every month.
1-10 earn a free camo
11-100 = 5million cbills
101-1000 = 1million cbills
1001-10000 = 500k cbills
stuff like that. Those are just numbers for examples but I'd love to see a full fledged reward system. Baby steps though. Daily login would be the easiest out of all that to implement I would think (could be wrong though) and a start. See how it goes and give it a few months to see if it accomplishes the goals of increasing number of players.

I agree that there should be some sort of bonus daily, but it should not simply be a login bonus or a bonus for so many wins in a day, with that model what you'll end up with is a bunch of people logging in all their mechs and then going to disconnect on them leaving the rest of the real players to make the wins for them and offset the match seriously when it comes to the firefight or capturing. If you're going to use a model it should be directly tied to in game activities such as assists. For example, The first 10 assists that you make game per day would get you 5mc. That would force a newbie player to play at least a few rounds before they would get their bonus and encourage them to play more and play better. Anyone who can make that many assists in one or two rounds of fighting is going to be playing every day anyway.
I don't oppose the idea of a one time 150-300 MC credit gift to the new player at the end of thier cadet bonus or a week of premium time given to them so that they do not have to experiance the cbill grind so suddenly and know the help premium time really gives and will make them more likely to maybe come up off a few bucks to spend on it.

IIRC disconnecting doesn't get you credit for anything that happens after the point at which you disconnect, unless you're already dead.
They'd need to tweak it slightly to avoid suicide disco farmers if they wanted to be super thorough about it, but in general if they simply publicize the limitations on how the bonuses work (and double c-bills is great since if you suicide-disco-farm you get double almost nothing) it should work itself out pretty quickly.

Ah, I didn't know that! Nice that they have that in order to prevent farming in that manner.
