Private Match Making In April

In theory this will be awesome. Being able to set up your own games with your friends, not relying on sync drops to play with people in tournaments. It'll be big.
I am just a little afraid PGI will implement it poorly. Forget a difficult or confusing interface, I mean the way its actually done. I am afraid Private Match Making will be 12v12's with a few rudimentary options.
Now, any step is a good step, but if that's all it'll still be a sad one. At very lest let people drop with any number from 2-24. That alone will allow a great deal of flexibility, and a lot of people the opportunity to use it with their friends.
I think other features would be important and useful. But if nothing else, a variable player amount... please PGI.
Please.

Doubtful, since I believe they've said that private matches will NOT earn any C-bills or XP (correct me if I'm wrong) which means there will be no good reason to go into a private match unless you're playing with people you know, in which case, why in the world would it be a "stomp" unless you set it up to be that way?

As it should be imo. If do not want to play w/other 12's and only amongst ones selves than yeah. It is good for training and competitive matches. If want to earn play with the other 12's, otherwise it would be fail in that you could manipulate it ie. 'power leveling' and the like.

I think he is referring to 12-0 and 12-1 matches in PUG games.

well even if they would be just for "fun" without any gains. it could be used to make up small tournaments or even have that 1v1 grudge match with someone you want to teach a lessen
