So what you're saying is that you've already had both mechs for almost two months, enjoying them and benefiting from the extra C-bills they bring?
Welcome to the real world, young person, As you get older, you're likely to find that the price where you decide to buy in is often not the lowest price an item will reach.

Putting an item on sale, and then further discounting it not even 2 months later is ridiculous. There are lots of hero & champion mechs to rotate through. Hell, they could put some of the ShadowHawk/Battlemaster/Thunderbolt chassis on sale for people who didn't purchase the Phoenix packages.
Or they could have ended the 30% sales and announced that some mechs were going to be rotating through one day, 50% off sales during January/February. Guess what that would have done? Allowed me to spend MORE MC on content.
But hey, keep defending PGI's antics. Honestly, why are there so many sycophantic fanboys around here?

Flame = Not all that great, but the best Dragon. Outclassed at it's role by the Shadow Hawk.
Firebrand = An alright Jager that can run twin AC/20 or Gauss like the rest of them with a boost.
Ilya = Best cash grinder in the game. Tripple UAC/5 all the way. Highly Recommended.
Dragon Slayer = One of the best competitive-level heroes, with a great weapons layout. Highly Recommended.

Good job PGI; even when you put things on sale you screw your customers over. What is the point of putting identical items on sale so close together if you aren't going to use the same discount?

I've long held they should have a Flame & Fang sale, where you buy one, you get the other free.

That is one of the best ideas I've ever seen on the forums!
However, it should be one way, so we can create a schism between the Fang > Flame crowd, vs the Flame > Fang crowd.

Are all 4 Mechs on sale all 4 days?
Or is it 24h per mech?
I'm a bit confused here as I haven't installed MWO on this PC???

Three possible reasons I see this happening:
1. Test of the instant-sale process. We've seen this all week, now they're doing a bigger one.
2. Reward for the UI2.0 debacle.
3. Clan 'Mechs will so totally stomp that it's probably best that we stock up on the desirable Heroes now.
