I was just snooping around the forums and saw a thread that had Steiner people showing off their Steiner based paint jobs. Didn't know such a thing exist (I'm not into the game like that). I was just wondering if the clans had something similar?

I meant individuals on the boards and whether they had created a specific camo/color to show off their unit.

Clan Wolf Alpha Galaxy general camo used when an actual camo or the classic flat gray is not used.

@cycloner, try rust colour. its more of a burnt red then it is orange, I think it's a closer approximation to alpha galaxy on most mechs (some mechs have weird skin skin effects, ex: the protector is shiny no matter what colour you put on).

Those are merely example pics. I do not own those colors, i preferred to spend my few MCs on that "Holiday Star" (a Cameron Star actually) as a reminder of our Star League roots

During my spare time I like to paint clan camoes as a hobby. But I have yet to see clan schemes in the game.I wish there were people who made units using clan-based schemes.

We usually run CW camos in official Trials and similar occasions. Many use black & red or something with orange in 4men. I run full orange because i have not many MCs atm.

I am not the only one in Clan space with such fantasies

However, i am learning to not expect very much when it comes to lore & immersion. If they will ever come, decals may be, at best, nose arts like sexy girls with boobs (they are not bad themselves of course, just out of place on a Clan warrior's OmniMech ), thunders, cards, skulls, bombs and that kind of generic symbols. I do not expect anything more.

Disclaimer: this is only speculation based about what they did so far.. What can i say? PGI's actions and the overall impression i have of the game are no less than "controversial" ..

That's really foolish, because all the money is in the Khan saying "All Galaxies must have the their Clan, Galaxy and ID Number on each Mech that participates in CW." Kids getting a skull tattoo on their mech arm is nothing compared to a Unit of 30 guys being coerced into buying Decals by their CO. Or Clans "gifting" them after buying 100 up front with member dues...

Well, i would buy them without told to do so I would definitely buy a Remembrance quote decal, if the resolution of the words could be good enough.
