It would have to be my trollmando. Nothing like running up on a 5d that is harassing an assualt, jamming his ecm, then slinging a full spread of streaks right into his back. You can almost hear them exclaim "WTF WAS THAT!?!" Also hilarious to be right behind a heavy slinging streaks into him and hes running for cover thinking hes under LRM attack. Honorable mention to my 3ac2, 2ml dragon. Ive had quite a few 1kdmg games in that mech and it always surprises people when i open up on them with that loadout.

My CN9-D edges out the A model. love the speed too much wish i could take the extra missile slot of the A too. I love trying to cover the whole battle in a medium and the centurion was my first.

stalker-5S. the most flexible stalker variant with dual AMS for missile defense you can pretty much make plenty of builds whether it may be a laserboat or a missile boat, splatcat stalker or hybrid. whatever works for you.

I'd sell all of my mechs but that one.

DEATH'S KNELL

Hands down one of the best mechs in the game. With this, I can brawl, I can spot, I can scout, and still live to tell the tale.

sooo....... are you carrying 17 tons of ammo in that........? And why in the heck would you use a standard engine in the most XL friendly chassis in the game?

Most the time I plan on just lrming any and all targets. I use a std in it because half the time I find myself in a brawl or having to fend off an ecm light. More than once I've had another enemy mech fight me while engaged with a light getting half my cat destoryed with the ears blown off. Four mls doesn't sound like much but they still let me fight on. I've even won a match with my mech striped of armor down to 20% Personally I just hate xl's because once you lose a side you're probabily dead; I prefer to keep fighting when at all possible.

Raven RVN-3L, with a custom loadout I used back from Tabletop days that's survived through all Mech iterations and works well even now.

For me, this is obviously a trick question!

I have a billion C-bills, therefore I outlast the big initial selloffs. I then wait out through the massive complaints on various forums, and nasty articles in Gaming magazines. When PGI/IGP has the inevitable massive giveaways/sales to entice users back to the game, I clean up.

Truth be told, apart from the 8 unsellables, if I had to choose just one, it would be my Founder's Cat. Better to be stuck with a great support mech than to try close combat constantly with a bunch of ticked off mechwarriors, especially with my ping.

Never going to happen though.

With 5 "unsellables" it would be the 2D2 giving me 2 S'hawks to play along with the 4G.

Fortunately I have a Comstar cache squirreled away

however if I wasn't a multi trillionere supporting an independant..blah blah blah etc it would be

The Dragon Slayer, but a properly built Battle tech style build and not one of the currant popular cheese builds that take BT's already stretched engineering feats and makes it WdaF for anyone with the slightest clue about ammo linkages and metal fatigue

Hmmm.

Catapult-K2, Catapult-C1, Catapult-Jester, Firebrand.... hmmmm.

I would have to go with the Catapult-Jester. Jack of many trades, fast and agile, and its high mounted weapons.

Lack of ballistic weaponary means its cheap on reload (assuming economic hardship)

Lack of endo steel and ferro means its cheaper to repair (assuming economic hardship)

Common chasis, easy to find parts for and repair.

Mostly fire support means ill take less damage in engagements.

Decent speed and maneuverability to leave the field of combat if things get rough.

Dual ams for more survivability since its my only mech.
