I know there have been topics like this before, but what is up with the matchmaker this weekend? Every match I've played in seems to be a one sided steamroller blood bath. None of the matches have been remotely close and I'm normally on the losing side. I've been playing this game since closed beta and I've never seen it as bad as this before

I'm glad someone got the nerve to post something about this...
(You know it's bad when I'm copying Sandpit now (probably not even a perfect quote) and actually posting on the forum...)
There's literally a thread about this on the first page... linked here... http://mwomercs.com/...t-could-happen/
To answer though just for the sake of being a little bit helpful, yeah, that happens sometimes. For the few games I played over the weekend, hasn't been bad, but not great either. But that's just me. I'd say with the new mech, timezones, people leaving/joining due to how good/bad UI 2.0 and other things, it's probably a little screwy right now...give it a month it'll probably return to normal...

Whats the point waiting longer for matches if elo still makes 12-0 games
I am just glad that i end up on the winning side mostly XD I don't like to think of it as coincedence

What I want to know is....where is the 'thanks for participating' trophy we can all put in our mechs?
It's reasonably obvious that a matchmaker that is intent on building people's egos rather than making even matches. My ego could use a little boosting after this month long, one sided roflstompfest. I want my trophy!

If that was even remotely true, it would mean it was tracking who won and lost and then building teams so that the losers got to win this time.
In other news, the Moon is indeed made of cheese, and Jewish Illuminati have launched steam powered rockets to take it over.
