i was having a game were i was just feeling useless. everyone had a faster better mech then me :-( my poor little YLW was just out of range most of the game. so when it was all over i figured i got 500 or 600 xp x2 with first win of the day. with 58 dmg what else could i have.



to my surprise i got 932, x2 for first win, total of 1864.



could of been well over 2200 with premium time. the savior bonus really made this score. i guess all the mechs i hit were counted as savior kills.

so i guess we have all had that game were we did almost nothing but got good xp. lets see them

I had many of those - but just went through and deleted them all to clear up storage space!
Guess I'll have to start watching for those again - had a lot from mastering Commandos - before Savior bonus or the like even.

here is another. courtesy of the wife and PGI for 2xp. team pretty much walked this one. wife wanted to tell me something just as we dropped. so i was afk for most of the match. me bad.



yep 11 damage for 1800 plus xp. be mastering YLW shortly at this rate

just so you don't think i left my team in total learch



as you can see they did pretty good without me.
i guess i was not needed

2x XP weekend coming up time to add a few new posts

first match at 2x XP this time around. crimson strait in my YLW. pugging, as always, end up with a bunch of missile boats. so me the other mediums and lights go draw fire and spot. it was not a good day to be a red shirt. and yes the insults flew about missile boats and our questionable parentage. it was a rofl stomp but i got this for only 3 ac20 rounds and one laser blast. even had both my arms left.





i do have film but it was boring. just me holding targets and using cover to avoid incoming lrms. some thing the other team did not do.

so i save my cbills and bought 3 atlases. now the 2 x XP is flowing i am trying to level these slow targets

this was in an as7-k which surprisingly is turning out to be my best atlas.





not a lot of time to play this time around. too much work getting in the way of MWO

these atlases carry enough armor and fire power that even an amateur like me, if i don't get jack rolled right off the get go, can get over 100 damage. now when i get jack rolled i get low damage but i an't done enough to get the XP up. but then they don't handle like any of my normal mechs. not sure if they are for me. l feel very sluggish without jjs.

another fun 2xp weekend and another low damage high XP post. in this one i am just starting to play locusts. the lct-1v to be exact. still running the stock eng as i have squandered my c-bills on wine women and song.... surprised it was also my first kill. timberwolf pilot says it was kill stealing but it was just him and me against a storm crow, stalker and a fire starter, maybe a nova came too but i was down by then. my uav got us LRM support and i was shooting anything that was not his timberwolf





3rd match in the lct-1v. not sure locusts are for me yet, with holding my opinion till i can afford to buy a better eng...

this is an honorable mention as i was killed in less the 3 minutes in a lct 1m. due to the new rewards and a bit of premium time, the littlest lrm boat makes some good cbills and xp

another 2xp 2.5xp weekend and a very high low damage high xp post. this was not a first win of the day. with the new reward system the lct can play scout and get good xp. this was in a 4ml tag lct3m

been awhile but this one tops all others. 2xp weekend, just under the wire, first win of the day, premium time, and a good conquest game with the focus on caps. working on mastering all the locusts so this helps alot.



yep 17 dam, 5400+xp! who says being in a fast scouting mech don't pay?

So we need to take a spider, raven 4X, Locust 1V, ember or any other light mech and just TAG and MG our way to the XP.

Or even AC 2 or ERLL with TAG combo for the 4X. Touch everyone, then TAG'em and let the rain fall.

5 damage for 2500xp, could of been 3800 with PT. not bad for dieing just a bit over a min into the match
