No. Kyle is too amazing a web developer to have put any proprietary code on MWOMercs. The transaction process (PlaySpan)? Maybe.... *sniff*...... maybe.

I was using Chrome and it freaking ginked on me about 7 times before it went through.

Yeah sites seem slow. Plus I went for the elite since I budgeted it that way. I probably would have went for legendary if it was detailed before in a newsletter.

did you use paypal? It kept refusing my credit card (cannot figure why) so I used paypal

(it has noticed that I authorized the payment but they apparently have not accepted it...bloody odd way to make things work I would say)

It could be that it failed for me multiple times at launch until they fixed something on the fly, and that's when I stopped trying in Firefox and tried in IE.

The system first could not process my credit card purchase. I then used the PayPal option, and received another could not process message. However, I received an email from PayPal stating that my payment to PlaySpan was authorized. Something is wacky in the billing system.

Edit: I checked the transaction in PayPal, and it was listed as canceled by the seller. I then went back and tried it as a credit card transaction, and it processed properly. I certainly hope that I didn't get billed twice for the package. I'll have to keep an eye out on my bank statement to validate that. Also, I received a call from my bank double checking that I authorized the PayPal purchase. My bank keeps a close eye on those types of transactions in order to avoid fraudulent charges.

So out of 4 attempts finally got it take on my paypal account after 3 failed attempt with Chrome, but used IE on the 4th, which is a bit ridiculous.

I got an e-mail from PayPal saying I authorized my payment to them, but nothing else. Do we get a separate e-mail about our founders stuff? Do they send us a code or something?

Finally got mine to go through...ended up using IE.. don't think that had anything to do with it, I think it was more just a timing issue.

8 tries with Firefox and no luck, tried it with IE and it appears to have worked...........

So much for internet standards and damn Microsoft for breaking them.
