Easy poll, which founders mech will come out on top? I'd guess the Atlas, but for myself I have chosen the beaky Catapult.

I figured everyone would be buying the atlas and went with the Catapult, now I feel like a bandwagoner.

Nevertheless, I love the ranged fire-support role and have always enjoyed the Catapult. The Atlas isn't even my favorite Assault mech, so it was a no-brainer.

EDIT: Gah, damn my consumerism and love for MechWarrior. Now I have all 4.

I fugured it would just be like in world of tanks.. You need to enjoy playing the premium mech.
Otherwise its just sitting in your garage not earning that extra C bills.

So.. I never liked the looks of the Atlas and it seems way to slow.
Were not sure about the hunchback.

Catapult it is. (gonna get a raven scout anyway)

Couldn't really decide and was hoping I wouldn't have to choose until Aug 7th, but I ended up going Catapult. Oh well, maybe it'll grind me some credits for other mechs pretty fast.

Sure, the Atlas is an Atlas, and I'm always interested in an MBT-style 'mech like the Hunchback, but what use is any firepower or armor if you are not where you need to be? The Jenner can run circles around most of the things I expect other players to field, surgically crippling them and getting out of LOS before they've turned their torso.

I personally if I just got the Elite would of gone with the Catapult but that's just cause I looooove missiles, the trail they leave so you can see them coming toward you easily.... just wonderful!

I bought the veteran package and did so mainly, because I wanted to support the games developement, but I am ofcourse happy to get in to the game earlier and get to kick some ***! =)

i got myself a hunchback the plan is to charge all the cat's pirched up on the hills and leg them with my AC20
then finish them off with a brutal point blank cockpit shot
