Which Founder's 'Mech did you choose?

Then the Legendary thing came along and made the decision for me.
(I have to admit, though - I kinda prefer the non-founder Catapult look, and while I love the Catapult's general visage and being around I've never really found myself drawn to -using- it, so I suspect I won't be using my founder one all that much)

Arm yourselves well.
Atlas Warriors Online is going to be a rocky experience.

As long as we can configure variants for these 'Mechs and not just be stuck with the Prime config, these 'Mechs should be pretty damn useful!

Too bad there's no Warhammer or Fluffy Pink Urbanmechs

I think once people read how the mechs would work, most of us went heavy/assault simply out of a cost perspective. You're talking about 10-20 million c-bills, roughly for a heavy or assault mech, and you have to elite it out 4 times, to get the 4 available variants at launch, not to mention other variants they'll release down the road, AND all of the fun coming our way next year... A Hunchback only costs around 5-6 million c-bills, but I was torn between the Atlas and Hunchback, until I saw how the Founder's mechs worked, then I said to my self "Self, you really should go for that badass looking Atlas AS7-D. I mean what's not to like, LRM 20, AC20, SRM 6, and 4 ML to boot. That's a lot of hurt coming somebody's way."

If we can modify our Founder's Mechs, I'm going to cut the SRM off, and replace the AC/20 with a Gauss Rifle. Getting rid of the SRM entirely will give me a little extra tonnage and space to work with. I might also consider reducing the LRM-20 to an LRM-15, if it means I can upgrade the Medium Lasers to Pulse Lasers, and mount a couple extra heatsinks to support them.
It's set in 3049. Were there PL in 3049? It's been years for me, so i'm not sure.
EDIT: NM, now thinking about it I'm 100% sure it was in before the clan wars.

According to Sarna, MPLs were reintroduced in 3037.
Yea, I think I was stuck thinking of the 3025 Technical manual. I sadly couldn't find many friends to play the board game. And I don't remember PL in that one. So it makes sense.
