The Catapult, Been in Australia, one has to be realistic about PING. I can't go close range because by the time my little bits and bytes get to the USA and back, my enemy will have moved out of the way from my Small Lasers. Guided missiles will give me a chance to at least hit something.

Besides the Catapult is PPC goodness if the ping aint so bad.

On the point of Legendary, if on the 4th they have upgrades still available, I will be upgrading.

I grabbed them all, but I am a fan of the catapult. It is the Mech that most reminds me of my favorite Mech, the Madcat (Timberwolf).

after looking at the pole and seeing fewer jenner and hunchbacks .. kinda wish i would have gotten one of them .... maybe ill need to upgrade and get them all if thats possible.

It's possible. Just go back to the page, and you'll see (you should see, anyway) "upgrade" buttons instead of "purchase". At least that's what I've seen described... didn't see it myself, because I just went for it.

EDIT: Had Centurion been an option, I would have selected that mech; it's the Hunchback's attractive, smarter brother.

Same here.

As it stands, I went Atlas simply because I felt it was the best looking of the Founders mechs. There are a few fun ways to rig even the AS7-D to do things at long range and still have an effective brawler. The basic config for the AS7-D includes an LRM-20 and an SRM 6, meaning at least 2 hardpoints for missiles, in addition to the 1+ AC and 4+ lasers. This means that Atlases may be a very unpredictable mech as far as ranges go.

Hunchie.

On a side note, just by looking at all the tags on the forum, in years to come people will believe blue is the best because it is rarest!

Went with the Jenner. I like being a scout and see myself in that role primarily. Getting a different skin and % increase in earned c-bills while playing that role sounds great.

I got the Atlas, but I liked the idea of the Catapult too. In the end I decided for the former because it looks more versatile as far as firepower is concerned and it costs more.
Eventually I will for sure get a support mech and a scouting fast mech because I like both of those roles, but for now the Atlas is enough.

Picked up the atlas. Likely to be the most expensive and the one to most let me just go "****** it, pew pew" when i dont' want to think.

The daishi is a clan omnimech isnt it? therefore it wont be added into the game until the other clan mechs. I want it too. I think the Atlas is ugly and boring.....I need Daishi and Nova!

Whats your ping like? I'm Australian Melbourne) an i play World of Tanks on the US server and i dont have a problem with ping. My ping is always hovering around 200-250. easily good enough to play.
