I just started running ERPPCS again for the first time. I found no use for my K2 after getting a Firebrand so I put 2ERPPC's and 22 double heatsinks. I kept coolent flush along just in case and actually had some pretty good games. It was nice to kick the dust off of it.

Yeah i run 3 ppcs and 3 small lasers on my 9M, never thought to do the "screw ghost heat" tactic, i just fired them 2 then 1

The funny thing is 6 ER PPCs can kill you, but 7 ER PPCs (do NOT force a start up) can't kill you. With 7 because the heat is so incredibly high it STOPS doing damage over time and instead does a percentage. With a percentage you can never die. Just be warned: Already overriden at 100%+ heat and firing 7 ER PPCs on Terra Therma will shut you down for 1 minute and 30-ish seconds.

Evidently this may be a side effect of the prevent player from committing suicide by overheating to prevent the enemy from getting a kill.

What I want doesn't really matter.

What I was told was that with 2.0 came the ability to add in sales and specials without causing downtime.
Adding this special caused downtime. Maybe I heard wrong. Maybe the source that told me had bad information.

This is not a gas station nor is it doing billing. Nowhere does litigation enter the conversation until you bring it up.

If you are implying my response lacked common sense, there isn't much more to say than what I pointed out above.

Have you lost your mind? This is basic CS and is very common. I'm not sure what the gas station break for billing is about, but 24/7 systems without maintenance is not new.
