How about some double C-bill weekends instead of all this double XP weekend stuff?

Seriously, all you guys EVER do are double xp weekends and MC mech sales. Enough is Enough. You're not giving any real progression incentive, and you're just trying to monitize the xp due to conversion rates.

Those of us who have been here long enough KNOW THIS GAME... Maybe do some double C-bill weekends so that newer players can get out of the trial mechs a bit faster and actually get something to own? Instead of focusing on how best to try to milk money from this community.

Oh darn, here I was feeling amazing for getting an 1800 XP game in my SDR-5V. 900's not bad but I thought I was just assisting/spotting like a madman and that's what did it.

As much as I'm bothered over some of PGI's past decisions, it floors me that people actually posted here to complain about a free gift. Too bad they weren't raised back when I was a child and parents knew how to smack that entitled punkish behavior out of us long before we could embarrass ourselves so publicly...

I like the Double XP event... Has been nice grinding through my Griffins.

But if you really really really want to make me happy... How about a Double C-Bill weekend?

I would play a marathon schedule to build up my bank roll.

In all fairness I've taken a step back from MWO for a bit to let the UI 2.0 Teething to work itself out. I can still use XP but XP isn't the measure of progression in this game. I haven't felt that I really suddenly needed XP.

I'm sure there are those that will get good use out of this Double XP weekend and gifts are always nice. That said, a double XP weekend won't have me logging in when I otherwise wouldn't.

I speak from experience when I say my weakness would be a double C-Bill weekend. In the past I have ran 48 hour gaming marathons on Planetside 2's Double XP weekend, as XP gets Certs and that is what your progression is gated behind.

Double XP weekends are great.

I don't happen to need one now - 40 Mechs, all Mastered, and no other chasses that really interest me.

But it will be good for those still building up their hangars.

I was really hoping this guy would go on sale. Double xp is nice, if you have something to use it on. I really understand they're trying to add incentive to the MC Firestarter release, why wait another few days? Get them now and level them fast! But can anyone tell me when the Jester has ever gone on sale? Oh well, maybe in another 2 weeks. Hmm, ugly duckling sale, Jester, Pretty Baby, Golden Boy, and Oxide? Can't really think of a good fourth one. No wait, they might use the duckling thing for a Spring or Easter sale, Forget it! I don't want to wait that long!

Double Xp is fun. This time i decided to go all in. I bought all the bad variants in every chassis.Now i have payed about 150M c-bills for bad bad mechs. Let the grind begin.

So if you see me in the battlefield i will be piloting something terrible.Please go easy on me.

Grinding locusts is not as bad as I thought it would be (as long as I stick to Assault or Conquest). I can't imagine trying to level up even the basics without the 2x XP. Thanks PGI!

Tried to take advantage of the double xp weekend but between the worst matches I have seen in a year and the struggle to deal with 2.0 every stinking match I just play a couple of matches and say to myself why bother.

Hate to say it but I am giving up on this slowly but surely.

Double XP not working for me. Did on Friday not the last two days. Pretty annoying.
