1 Click Home
2 Click Battlemechs
3 Select your mechs
4. Modules are listed on the load out stub.
5. Engines are still not listed.

Thanks for the tip....

Just sad that this is what MWO has become..... Need Forum Help to locate the freakin Modules... and still no Love for the Engines....

Modules and Engines are the 2 most expensive items in the game (besides the Mechs themselves) and the 2 most changed out parts in the game... yet PGI has made it their mission to make it as hard as possible to find those 2 important parts of the mech...

I"m taking a much needed break from the game.... When I get home from work and Boot up MWO...the last thing I need is a headache figuring out how to move parts between mechs or even rebuilding a mech... something that used to be fun BEFORe I played a match... and now it seems with 2.0 its like a secondary job...

But I digress... Thanks Hexenhammer for the tip... I"ve played with you a few times (possible same Elo? who knows now) but game is just unfun for me right now.... too bad I cant shut off my Premium Time momentarily....

I'm not sure if we have or hadn't but either way I'm glad to help.

And taking a break from the game isn't a bad thing either. I'm going to take a break myself and see what happens next patch. I'd rather not play than play and become frustrated with the game and give up. Unfortunately the longer I don't play the easier it will be to find something else to play.

And if I find any of my mechs missing when I return I'm coming after you Roadbeer.

Thanks for the tip hex!
Figuring out a new layout is always hard, especially after nearly 2 years and hundreds of hours with the old one

Doesn't seem to show my champion mechs, though.

It should if the mech has module in it but as I've never spent money on a champion mech I wouldn't know.

If you do own the mech, ie actually bought it and it doesn't show up email support as it's a bug.

Great tip, thanks!

Does this same method display BAP and Artemis?

Actually they are Phoenix mechs (the (P) models), but the mechlab puts them in the champion tab so I suspect it might be so for all the champion mechs. Those mechs show up just fine on the mechlab but not on the inventory.

Actually, on your screenie they are not showing on the list either though the other phoenix models do. I assume you have them.

Thanks for the tip! Gonna go try it myself right now. Especially around the ProPho/champion mechs.

I bought/buy enough engines and modules to equip all my mechs... so can just select one and hit Launch/Play. Unless one of the modules I picked for a mech is Arty... then I need to see if I used it or not. So even for me, this tip could be handy!

Two points, now that I've tried it.

There should be a Step 1A - Click Inventory ;)

And yeah, Champion mechs don't show up. The ProPho mechs and HBK Founder mech aren't in the list (I don't have any other Champions.) The non-P ProPho mechs are in the list, TDK, FB, GB, etc. but not the (P) or (F) variants. Weird.

I've been using that for a while. It's handy, even though it could help if we had the listing of installed stuff on the Modules tab. A button to configure the mech directly from Inventory would also be very nice.

We should use this as an unofficial UI2.0 Tips thread. I'm sure there's other little tricks and tips we're all picking up as we get used to it

Great tip, Hex. Thanks.

Expanding on the thread topic, I think the best way to handle modules would be to have an option to have all modules automatically de-equipped at the end of every match. Players would then be able to equip whatever module they want prior to dropping without having to hunt them down on different 'mechs. Players who rarely change modules can choose not to use the auto de-equip option, while players (like me) who play a bunch of different 'mechs and have been stingy buying more that 2 of any one module don't have to click through 50+ 'mechs.

I'd just like a full layout form the mechlab. Being able to see all locations of my mech at once would be a huge addition. Looks like we're getting that one pretty quick though

Any mech you cannot sell will not show up. I'm not sure about the Champion ones (have not bought one, so I can't tell).

It's problematic when my favorite mech is Sarah's Jenner. So, this is not the most useful option to me.

Also, you cannot select the topmost mech in the inventory list either... which is a terrible bug.
