Ok, join up on the website, www.cwdg.us, and submit your application. Then hop onto TS and have someone get your unit tags and a unit invite in game.

Welcome aboard!

OK I have applied, now just waiting on that acceptance, quick question...What do you mean Unit Tags? Again I'm still somewhat a rookie.

In game unit invite, plus, you will need unit tags on TS to hop around freely and see all the channels.

I get it that everything goes in a war, but I thought clans were supposed to be honorable. Rushing to our drop point and getting half your team shot while doing that, then camping one of our dudes and sucking at that too, then rushing to generators and dying like flies doesn't seem very honorable to me. But whatever floats your boat.

The "BRAVE CWDG" ended up "winning" that match because you just threw all your mechs at our generators and repeatedly "dropcamped" us (only managing to kill a total of 4-5 mechs in that process), but I wouldn't call it a win when almost half your team didn't even manage 80 match score.

Just thought I'd share my thoughts about your tactics. It's a win alright, but I've never seen anything so lame in this game.

Technically, Clan warriors are honorable against opponents who follow their honor rules in combat. For all intents and purpose, in the game no Clan unit will fight 1vs1 etc. unless the other unit offers a Batchall, and even then not all drop commanders would accept it.

How good were the times when a 12man would drop in the pub queque , ask the opponent team if they wanted to fight duels and have fun the Clan way.. ^_^

If you're pacific like me the peak hours are during the workday. It starts slowing down as it gets late in Europe and by the time you got on at 11 PM it must have been pretty empty---that's about the time a bunch of us logged last night. There was still a 12 man running until it got close to midnight for the CST/EST guys though.

I'll weigh in here, having just finished a game against CWDG and having played more than one with CWDG during the Tukkayid event.

If you get spawncamped, it's your fault. You let them get that far. You messed up and paid the price. Simple really. I've been known to rage ingame about spawncamping but I acknowledge that it's because the team failed, nothing more.

These guys fight well, very well even. But it's not that difficult to push ANY group back if you talk to each other. Teamwork is, as always, OP. Use the VOIP, use the text chat. You'll do much better for it. Of course, you'll get rolled by a 12 from time to time, but that's the nature of CW. Don't like it, drop with a group. If not, suck it up, learn from it and play the next game as a more informed mechwarrior.
