Had this issue last patch as well when UI 2.0 just came out.

Bought a HBK-4p to finish my elite tier skills and play around with it some.

Went to sell it, and it brings up the dark screen and says Processing, but nothing happens.

I guess its all my mechs, I can't sell any of them to free up a bay slot.

bleh.

Is there some hidden limit to how many times you can sell mechs to free a bay slot before you have to actually buy a new mechbay?

I didn't have any issues selling mechs in the current patch (although it was prior to the hotfix). Try running the MWO Repair Tool though and see if that helps any.

So where is this repair tool?

I just spent 2 days getting the run around by the support team during which he had me doing all sorts of random useless things, I even uploaded a video of the bug, then I got redirected to customer support which I still haven't heard from

Something funny just happened.

I got my new mech and new bay from the challenge, and just to test it, I was able to sell that Centurion, but it still won't let me sell the mechs I had previously to the UI 2.0 switchover.

Hey guys, this is a UI2 related issue which should be fixed hopefully with the next patch.

This maintenance is attempting to bring most mechs back into a sellable state live, but it a live solution won't be able catch every single case. So, as this live maintenance occurs, you might find yourself suddenly able to sell your mech if you try again. We might end up having a short downtime early next week to do a more thorough fix up, but this bug will need to be fixed in the UI before it goes away completely.
