Also, in the Viking Lance Tournament there were, I think, a total of 16 teams fighting who considered themselves FRR. You've mentioned here 12 from each House, so is it first come first serve? Or will units be restricted to the amount of teams they can enter?
Or..something else?
I believe some of the units from the last tournament would fit in other brackets with this expanded format. The 2 DHB teams come to mind first. Then there's the question of SoR. I believe we are technically a mercenary company in FRR employ, not a house unit. I'll just watch for a while and let the occifers sort this stuff out.

I am 90% sure that it will be held on several weekends in may.
We haven´t decided on the exact dates yet, but you will have all the informations you need when we open the registrations.
Right now we are assessing how many people we have for the organisation team. We will have to enlarge it quite a bit compared to our 6 guys or so from the VLT.
For example, we will need 8 people for each qualification group we have. We need to hold at least two of them simultaneously, but the more the better. If we get the tourney full we will have 144 matches in qualification and 50 in the elimination rounds after all.

We have decided on the estimated dates of the tournament!
Please be aware that those dates might be subject to change, depending on several premises we can not control, like the timely release of the launch module.
First weekend of qualification:
Friday 09th May 2014
Saturday 10th May 2014
Second weekend of qualification:
Friday 16th May 2014
Saturday 17th May 2014
Third weekend of qualification:
Friday 23rd May 2014
Saturday 24th May 2014
Elimination rounds and finals:
Friday 30th May 2014
Saturday 31st May 2014
Each team will only be required to be present for about two hours at ONE of the days of qualification.
In case you get to the elimination rounds you will need to be present for the whole duration of the elimination games as long as you stay in the tournament.
If we get an overwhelming response we might add further dates!

For the elimination rounds we will probably use binarybeast again, it worked well in the finals.

It really depends on how many registration we get and how well the launch module works.
I could imagine to make the first round of the elimination rounds as a best of three and then switch to sudden death.
We will see about that.

For some reason I got the idea that there would be 2 groups of 6 teams in the qualifiers per faction, with 2 going through. But I red the first post again.... thanks for the clarification.

Its basically a size issue.
We might change it though, depending on the ammount of registrations we get.
