Meh... it's a classic world of tanks styled fish hook..... easy enough to do, and with the nerfing of the Cent, awhile back.. not a "commonly" ran tank anymore... so that mean? Here, have a "free" champion line mech.... oh and if you like it, get some MC and pick up the another 2 Cents so you can elite/master out your pilot skills...and that's really what the (C) lines are... just an easy, maxed out format, to spur the players to push into getting mechs maxed out and grinding out Cr w/ Premie time to make the 3 million crs needed for Mods...... In the end, they are hoping to fish out about $7-25USD, per player... and to be honest, Shut up and take my money... it's been a working model for World of tanks...but...but... to be honest.. Tanks is an easier game to get into, faster, cleaner, plays better on low end machines... getting in and out of matches is fast and easy... blah blah blah... well see how much the Mech warrior player base is willing to $cashout$ to support this game..... if it happens and PGI is smart... more maps... more maps.... more maps... 16 vs16... maybe even 32 vs 32..... and in time a Clan Wars set up base on Houses would be SHINY!!!!! /rant mode disegaged.

Meet Trinity, a twin sister to good old Maya, but with exp bonus! I run her with this sort-of natural build, incorporating useful usage of all hardpoints and the largest possible XL engine. I know, memories of 3xSRM6 + AC2 are still warm in our hearts, but SRMs ain't what they used to be, and critseekers are stronger now than ever. Plus, there's only so much you can do with a 50-tonner with a dominant ballistic hand and badly placed energy hardpoints.

Still, this nimble little troublemaker is bound to shine on mop-ups, just don't get in front of those meta Jaegers and Highlanders, and you'll be fine. Also, enemy ECM lights and Command Atlases aro gonna feel awkward just standing next to you, :wink:BAP:wink: And before you know it you'll be teaching people about how internal component damage now also partially translates to parent section of the mech. Crits can be like a bad Monday onto your enemies. Just ask Aunt Ember :SMUG: :SMUG: :SMUG:

Of course, I'm a bit spoiled here, having Speed Tweak and Double-Basics helps a lot, but that 21.5k exp 3rd module slot is still ahead, and this girl's gonna go ang get it for me.

Which reminds me: what can be better than spending a sizeable part of your weekend in a mech cockpit? But then again, aren't we all here because we know that? See you downrange, con-jocks! There's a lot of fun to be had yet in all those glorious drops to come...

Kudos and thank you for this nice gesture.

May I suggest you retain this as a permanent reward for new players who have finished their cadet bonus but up the number of wins to 15? Might be a good way to keep them playing after they run through the cadet bonus. This would be in line with previous suggestions to give new players a free mech.

Thanks devs!...Im an old Founder but have been off and on playing just little spurts in the last 7 months.

Is this mech good as is?..has 2 med pulse las and 3 artemis 4 shot missiles. Should I leave as is or strip and make something new with it? Maybe redo the armor and such? I know its a Champ mech.

First 3 matches I got 2 wins...took another 12 matches for the other 3...or nore..good lord i was ready to kick my computer through the window.
