Well, that's pretty much the best way to get more people to play a mech they wouldn't play otherwise and almost no one bothers to play and at the same time give some huge love back to the fans that had enough reasons to be ticked off the last months. Especially like the fact that the mech is so easy to earn. Quite refreshing when you were put through the insane requirements Gaijin has for you to earn a premium plane in War Thunder (500+ kills... seriously) !

I like the idea behind this, and will definitely take it, but challenges should be...well.... Challenging. Four days to win five matches? At least the 25 wins challenge from a while back took some work, and all that you got for that was a useless hanging item. This should have either been marketed as a freebie or the challenge should have been a challenge.

Regardless, the mechbay is worth more to most of us than the mech, but I'll take them both and see what all the Centurian hype is about!

Where is your logic that having 2.0 gives them an extra two seconds (that they didnt have before 2.0 was out?) to put together a win tracker for a few days and then award an item for it? They did this multiple times when 2.0 was in development for various cockpit items. So no this promotion happening has nothing to do with a new UI being released.

I sold my CN9-A but been meaning to get it back. This'll make that easier and pre-upgraded!

So far 7 losses in a row but all have been really good games. like 9,10,11 - 12 loses. Close games. Everyone on the team talking. Working together.

Maybe the offer of a free mech temporarily increased the player pool enough so the MM kinda works now?

Already got mine, it was about 30min after my 5th win and when I logged back in, there it was.

There was no bundling of items prior to UI 2.0, period. Also, IIRC, you would have to redeem to get the item(s), and not have them injected automatically.

5wins? It can be done in less than 4 hours...easy challenge. Either way thanks for the champion mech and extra mechbays. The 4 mechbay slots I currently have is starting to get sketchy to manage.
