Cute, had a match earlier today that a commando and cataphract killed each other at the same time and fell on top of each other in death.

Earlier I fired some streaks at a Jager and a random Jenner running away from someone else around the corner got exploded by them lol. He ran right into the path at the perfect time.

Another funny thing was getting stuck on the map and not being able to move but, living the whole match, doing 343 damage, and getting a kill. lol

I wish there had been a battle recording function in MWO (perhaps one that could be toggled on to save the last two-three matches, so that you could permanently save the ones you wanted to keep), I've had some moments that I'd dearly like to see again.

The one that pops right into my mind now is one battle on Alpine Peaks. I was standing on a ridge with some team mates, with me at the edge of the group. I was in my Stalker and had taken quite a hefty bit of damage, so I was trying to keep a bit behind the front of the lines acting as fire support. Suddenly, three enemy 'Mechs (I think it was one assault and two heavies) came up the hillside right beside me. "Well", I thought, "that's me toasted". But I wouldn't go down without a fight, so I turned towards them and fired my five SRM6 launchers into their faces. Moments later, the screen just lit up completely with "COMPONENT DESTROYED" and "ENEMY DESTROYED" - it turned out I actually took out two of them with that one salvo, and the survivor fled relatively quickly with quite a bit of damage. It was total carnage. I guess you had to see it to understand how absurd it seemed. I guess a similar feeling would have been to fire a shotgun blast into a line-up of action figures - one moment there were three enemies beside me, the next moment there were none. And here I was absolutely certain this was the end of the match for me...

Maybe not the greatest and most unique "epic moment" out there, but it sure made me feel powerful then and there! :P

Oh, how close to death you were.

I'm in a triple gauss Ilya. Our team rushes the pass on Crimson Straights and picks off 3 mechs (2 of which I got the kill shots). I'm racing along at 57kph, but have been left behind by my team when a Spider engages me. I line up a shot and bang! Side torso instant death.. what? A standard engine. Slightly frustrated about the waste of ammo, I line up another shot. Incoming missiles! The spider is spotting for LRMs. Ok spider, off with your leg. One more shot and I might be able to escape. I can't take much more LRM fire. Dead spider.

As I am turning to run and undamaged Highlander steps out from behind a building. I'm isolated and my paper thin armor is already hurting from LRMs. I know I have a single shot to survive. One chance at a headshot. I charge up my gauss and release. I see the head on the Highlander's paper doll flash for the briefest of moments, and I'm dead. Gauss explosion.

I cycle through spectator view trying to find out what happened. Eventually, someone targets the Highlander and I see the deep red head component. He must have taken off one of my Gauss rifles fractions of a second before I fired, simultaneously saving his life and setting off a chain reaction which ended mine.
