I'm not sure if this issue has been raised but on the GRF 3M I have an LRM15 equipped and 3 SSRMs. My thoughts are that the LRM15 should occupy the shoulder mounted rack while the streaks are on the small side ones. I have no way of re-organizing the loadout to make this happen. Each time I finish it just reverts back to one streak on the shoulder which looks silly.

Let me know if there is a workaround or something!

There is.

Strip the Streaks and LRM-15s from your Griffin and save it.
Go to the Home tab and select Inventory, then Weapons.
Sell all of your Streaks.
Sell all of your LRM-15s.
Go back to the Mech Lab tab.
Equip a new LRM-15.
Equip new Streaks.
Save.
Done.

It's a proven method that works 99% of the time. (It has worked every single time for me and many others, but occasionally a player will say it didn't work). It just wastes C-Bills and is annoying to have to do.

I haven't tried that, but I've heard it many times - that weapons "remember" what hardpoints they were intended for.. Or sometimes at least.

I don't actually believe that, but I've never tried so I can't say either way. I just chalk it up as an annoying bug and try another build.

What I've heard is they 'index' to a hardpoint once they are equipped on it. There doesn't seem to be any way to clear it. I have no idea what would happen if 2 launchers 'indexed' to the same hardpoint - would one be reset? It's a weird system that needs to be reworked. Either that or just make all launchers fire in quick groups of 5/2 depending on if LRM or SRM (faster than current 2/5 tube launchers). This gets around the whole problem for missiles at least and lets the art team have an easier time fitting extra launcher ports onto mechs while equalizing the playing field for mechs that equip missiles in comparison to eachother..

Actually I don't think it's about 'reemmbering' which slot they were in, so much as it is about the older weapon being priortized. So, selling off equipment has a bizarre effect upon your intended weapon location. Obviously an actual solution (either 'equipped order' or a little interface to choose) would be much appreciated

Also a note: I was able to just equip my extra missile weapons to other owned mechs then buy new ones for griffin, so I didn't have to sell anything. The only c-bills lost were in purchasing new LRM-15 and SSRMs which wasn't bad.
