You have decided to have a load-screen for every single button I press, and that's fine I guess.
There's a load-screen to log in, to log out, to start a game, to end a game, to change sound level, you name it. Everything I do requires a load-screen.

Which would not be so bad if they did not take so much time, I understand that loading maps can take a little time, but menus, changing the sound level? Really? What are we "loading" after that?

Are all my settings server-based or wtf is taking time there?

The other problem is that about 25% of the time, you never get out of that loading text, it just sticks there, I find myself restarting (with alt+f4) about 10 times per play session.

When will these issues be addressed, I understand its beta and all. But if it takes me almost the same amount of time just to load things as the time I actually end up spending ingame I cant see it being a very effective way of testing anything since you'll get much less data from people sitting and watching load-screens rather that actually playing the game.

I guess what I would summarize the problem with is that the interface needs some attention, it needs to be streamlined and all these unnecessary confirmations for everything needs to get reduced.

And the fact that you get disconnected from servers all the time is getting tiresome. Fine if I could just start another game but I cant now can I? My mech is trapped in the glitched game until everyone has glitched out or the last 3 remaining players have harvested all the free destruction they can.

Get some servers in Europe please, there are players here too, in fact my country is even mentioned in the lore for the game. But all I want is a server in Europe. No other game I have ever played since I found online gaming has had this high ping.
Clearly its not just overloaded servers, they are far away too.
A game where you have to lead your shots and count seconds to hold focus 200ms is a lot, its for example 20% of the time I need to keep my laser on target for maximum damage, something that can never be done properly since the extra time needed to fix on target is lost in damage.

This load-screen problem of yours sounds more like a problem with your machine not (or barely) hitting the minimum requirements to play the game.
What's you framerate like in-game and at wich settings?
Are your drivers updated?
Did you run the repair tool/reinstall the game to see if something is corrupted?

As for the high ping... not much to do about that. With HSR introduced at least high ping players can play SOMEWHAT consistently but it seems that also made regional servers unlikely.

I'm quite sure my machine can run the game decently.

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.7GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Card name: AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series

Drivers might be outdated though, going to look at that. But my problem is that the loadscreens seem to get stuck, like they cant get past some issue.

I was just hoping for a solution that did not include re-installing all the time, I just don't have time to sit and do that. I only have a few hours a day to play and I want to use the for playing, not for maintenance and load screens.

But the drivers was a good idea, and I'll take a look at that. That's the only kind of update I really would like the computer to remind me about, but its the only kind you have to maintain all yourself.

Thanks for taking the time to quell my rage ;)

Yeah that rig should definately be able to handle MWO. Hope updating the drivers works, if not you might have to try a reinstall. Did you ever run the repair tool ? Maybe that finds some corrupted files.

Never did the repair tool, but I will try that one too.
Thanks again ;)
