Here is my theory:

it SHOULD take your 10 best games. so if you get a game better than one of your current 10 best your now 11th best game is discarded. I think it is failing to discard those points, this would explain why it is not counting low scoring games as they would not replace any of your 10 best.

I've been mostly dropping in Cicada's and Shadowhawks, but the few I've done in a Victor...

I'll say it here. Running off solo and then trying to leg mechs instead of kill them ASAP is a bad idea. Especially when it moves at 72kph, can aim and has a 58point alpha. Especially in 50 ton mechs. Seriously. Playing my Victor, it's heaven when you see a Hunchback, Cent and Treb running at you one by one with around 500m between them.

"Jump, alpha. Twist. Jump, alpha, twist." Rinse and repeat until the 50 tonners are dead, and they've maybe cored one leg.


Work as a team. You will do more damage and get more kills than if you all run off for solo-glory and lose 12-0.

I concur something's wrong with medium list... I've a Kintaro match, though I've never owned or played one. Hunch or BJ is leaking to Kintaros list.

my score has been locked at the same pts for about 1.5 hours despite playing drop after drop in that time frame...

Likewise. The only mediums I've played are Trebs, Cicada's and SHD's. Still have a Kintaro score. Lolwut?

Seriously. PGI, why announce and hold a tournament when you haven't checked and rechecked the scoring formulae?

All this does is cause hate and moaning on the forums. As much as I love this game, I get the impression you folks think something up on thursday morning, type a few lines of code and implement it on Friday. Something like this needs to be checked and doublechecked. If not triplechecked.

From what I can tell, this entire nights worth of playing has done one of two things.

1. Found winners already, providing they play a match or two tomorrow and sunday.
2. Completely invalidated anything we've done so far because you had the math wrong.


Which is it?




(for what it's worth, I'm doing poorly in all the categories I've "entered", so this isn't about me)

And that's enough Grindwarrior:online for me. Any chance of getting someone to sort out the scoring issue so I can know what my real score is? I'm curious to know if I'm actually a top 10 Centurion pilot or if I just ground more / faster than the other pilots.

I was planning on doing Cicadas but after I saw the scores I switched to assaults if it is total matches not just top 10 that makes sense. PGI you have done in again! It's just kinda funny now, not sad anymore.

Yeah, it is completely bugged. Either it is accumulating with no "best of 10" or there is other rule we don't know about.
Also, if you check the last medium tournament, it displays more ground-to-ground scores (http://mwomercs.com/...?t=201305medium).
