I earned the free Cent CN9-(C) with 3 SRM4+Art. When I fire them there's a half second delay before they actually fire. My HGN-733 with 4 banks of SRM6+Art doesn't do that, I pull the trigger and they fire. My ping is in the 90's so I don't think that is a problem.

Also, I purchased a Camo Pattern (not the one time use version) for a mech but I can't use that same pattern for a different mech of a different weight? Is that working as intended? (cough, moneygrab cough.)

^^^^ Some mechs have bay doors that need to open before the missiles can launch. If you pull the trigger the doors open and then launch. If you press "/" you open the doors until you press it again. You won't have the launch delay, but it does make you take more damage as you've removed some of your armor.

There is a light, usually on the cockpit braces, that will be yellow until you press "/", then it will turn green. That's your door indicator.

Ones with doors that I'm aware of are

Catapult
Centurion
Kintaro
Stalker

Probably some more

As the others have pointed out, you need to open your missile bay doors manually once or there will be a delay because they open and close everytime you fire. With the bay doors closed you only take 90% damage in that component though if I remember correctly.

As for this:

Camo patterns can only be bought on a "per 'mech+variants"-basis. You can't, for example, use woodland camo you bought for your centurions on your highlanders, unless you buy it for them again. So yes, it is working as intended.
Please also note that you cannot change the patterns of hero-'mechs, only their colours.

Oh... I didn't know that SRM's had doors, I thought only the LRM's did.

As far as the patterns... So, it is a money grab. That bites and I'll not purchase any more of those. Even if they're on sale.

Edit: I actually have a problem with having to pay for patterns for every variants. I wish I knew it was set up that way because I wouldn't have purchased it for just 2 mechs, what a waste of MC's. It's not like you have humans hand painting these mechs, it's probably automated and after you purchase the pattern you just plug it into the autopainter and away it goes, on ANY MECH PUT INTO THE PAINT BAY. Might want to consider that.

Besides, when was the last time a new pattern came out?

This is not dependent on the type of missile launcher, but the Mech variant. A few Mechs do have bay doors for their missile hardpoints.
A bay door indicator is also located in the Mechs which have them. A small, hard to see light bulb.

In this list, Mechs with bay doors are indicated with a white square consisting of 4 smaller white squares. E.g. Centurion, Stalker, ...

Another concept that is poorly explained to new players.
