Camping is just not a viable tactic in the game, and players are always wandering off getting themselves shot up.

We need someway to keep everyone in one spot.

Easy solution, add repairs at friendly cap points, make it cost 100 Cbills per point of damage or something. You must have a module which allow repair though, that is imperative. MC only would be best, but then all these P2P haters would get upset.

No because you're poll is bias in its implementation and questions.

Repair should be implemented as part of a robust economy not as a credit-sink or a counter to camping.
Camping is a valid tactic. This argument is as old as the whiners in CS/Quake who complain about camping but continue to run into the same ambush over and over again. (Yet they like being snipers.)

If you want some way for people to stick together, continue to (and provide) heavily incentivize teamwork, kill assists, better communications features.

Yeah, I'm not even going to vote because the poll options are too biased.

Basically, your idea is terrible. [redacted]

@ NRP. Yes its a idea for the wrong reasons, but there is no reason to make it a personal attack. This persons employment has nothing to do with this idea/suggestion or poll. Please some basic respect.

Yes the sky is blue, unfortunately it does nothing to validate the poll. If you want folks to take it seriously, remove your personal opinion from the options of the poll. Folks don't often share the same opinion, and without valid neutral choices this thread /poll doesn't contribute anything.

Glue... I vote we glue all the mechs to their starting position.... or BOLTS... really big bolts into the ground. that would work.

Arcade BS! No in-game repair!

Not disputing field repair bases exist, just TT side they can't even do more than a point of armor in 15 minutes. Any faster than that, definitely "Arcade"

Why? Just surround the spawn with small pebbles, that way only the mechs with JJ's could get free to roam......

OP is a horrible poll-maker and should feel bad.

And no repairs during a match. Seriously. This isn't NASCAR and you don't fix 'Mechs like you were pulling into the pit stop for a new set of tires, some gas and a lube job.

No in-game repairs; this is a no-respawn game and that would only reward certain types of camping or turtling around the repair bays, which isn't more fun than we have now.

Also your poll is so skewed, you should learn how to make proper unbiased poll options. Misleading poll answers using positives for your preferred answer and negatives otherwise to attempt to swing votes in your favor is frowned upon and I reject it.

This is an inane idea.

Sure, lets have repair bays, you have to keep your mech in it while it's repaired in real time. 1-2 weeks or so.
