Recently got this bad boy from the 3d printer and I cant wait to paint him up!
He stands about 9 inches and dwarfs my Commando model.

Still needs a little cleaning up, some sanding and such. And I think Ill add a Gauss and paint him as A Misery.Posted Image

THAT'S INCREDIBLE! and the paint scheme on that commando is awesome! And it looks like the missile bay doors on the stalker actually open. Does its torso twist too?

Me wanna have!

That's incredible! If you do such a good job at painting as you did on the Commando, this model is going to kick ass.

It is sweet isnt it?
Yup the missile doors open, I thought that was a nice touch. And the torso does twist. The legs are poseable but the arm pods are fixed. I would have liked it if they could rotate up and down.
Yes that is a Marauder in the background slowly taking shape. When I get that done I will cast it.

Amazing looking. Would love to have one of these, as the Stalker is one of my favorite mechs of all time (right behind the Crab and King Crab...).

Thanx guys, Its 1/60 scale like all the mechs I build.
I was thinking about getting another set of legs and building a King Crab on them just like this

A King Crab model in the MWO style would be amazing.

As far as the linked image/thread, I'd only suggest you move the shoulder connection forwards more instead of being inline with the hips. It's the only real major change I see needing to be done to that image.

Cool

Though I still lament how un-Stalkery the MW:O Stalker looks...

Thats the way I felt about it too, cargo plane with a hiking satchel was its look - but its horrifying firepower made its unique style grow on me. Chickenleg Stalker loses some of the charm I feel, its another reverse knee mech with missiles.

Still do love all these large scale mechs popping up, and despite me not really loving the MWO stalker this one looks great!

Well, for the sake of Nostalgia, technically, this is the "Stalker II" from the 3145 TRO. Trew story. (well, trew story they used the MWO Stalker as the Stalker II)
