Before HSR I was having no real problems with hit reg... No more than I expected I should say. I would use A PPC or Large Laser depending on how SRMs were working.

I guess it is also a matter of perspective though Nick. :P

You are totally special then.

But you see, LRMs are rather worthless now. As are SRMs, flamers, and pretty much everything aside from ACs, ML, LL and PPCs. So, the best way to counter the frontloaded build is : Frontloaded builds! What a wonderful balance decision.

machine guns arent useless, srms = hit detection issues, just bugged, and hopefully fixed soon. LRMS are actually quite powerful when used properly in a team. And hopefully will make abit more of a combeback with the changes to Jumpsniping now. Flamers.... yes need work. I am actually surprised you didnt mention pulse lasers? But meh. My own idea for there rework is unfavorable anyways so I could care less since they will never be a true brawling weapon in most folks eyes it seems.

That said with the changes ive seen two things myself.

1) jump snipers are quite lessened and ALOT less effective.

2) alot more brawling builds out there and actually seem alot more srm users (even with hit detection issues) Wich sorta was what I predicted would come back with the change..... so... actually pretty happy with the changes so far. Can only judge from what I see myself though. I do believe many players use certain weapons at lower elo just because they can take advantage of things against pugs, but who knows.

I basically play matches each night until I end up fighting a poptart squad like the video. In other words, I play 1-3 matches and then don't want to look at the game any more.

EXACTY my experience. I have fun for a while but then it hits Poptart O'Clock (which strangely seems to be a real time, ~11pm EST, I swear)...

Confession: I've been cheating on you MWO with Planetside 2....

I had about.... 3-4 of my birthdays there before it shut down, used to by the all day pass. I have fond memories of running down there after school to play. I was actually lucky enough that they had one in my town walking distance from where I lived.

I do miss it. They had a few setup in a few spots after but they never quite drew enough attention. So they always shut down.

I'm sure it was fun for those involved but to watch that video this game has become rather gay.

it's funny how you can use the term gay in a negative way, what if someone said this game has become rather ni**er? both offensive terms, just depends on what side of the coin your on i guess, also the immaturity of people who lack the necessary vocabulary to express there feelings in a less offensive way?

i tried it, it was fun, but to be honest it was more fun while not in their titans, if you want to play a fps/twitch type game i would recommend hawken. both good games, i just prefer hawken to titanfall

I'm planning to try it..but in the end MW:O is the only game that isn't like super fast Japanese style mecha.

I like the more slow ploddyness.

Cygnus is just showing his age. We old farts didn't have the upbringing to think Gay was different from Queer. Cause definition #4 was not in the dictionary when I was a young lad!

Not that it makes his comment acceptable. But it can be excusable.

Also ACEN. I volunteered to help run the pods a couple years ago. Was awesome. Plus free t-shirt

Gay and F*g have become the younger generation's 'Lame' or 'Stupid'. Meanings of words change all the time and I say we let this one happen.
